Abstract

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin with a specific friction coefficient and flexural modulus is compounded with rubber components and calcium silicate to produce said sliding material compositin suitably used in door check shoe because of its adequate friction coefficient, high mechanical strength and wearing resistance.
CONSTITUTION: Said composition comprises (A) 15W50, preferably 20W45% of a thermolastic resin with a friction coefficient of 0.05W0.6, preferably 0.1W0.2 and a flexural modulus of 15000W35000, preferably 22000W28000 kg/cm2 such as saturated polyester, polyamide, polyacetal, preferably polyethylene terephthalate, nylon 6, (B) 10W40, preferably 15W30% of a polyesterpolyether elastomer or ethylene copolymer rubber and (C) 30W50, preferably 35W45% of calcium silicate, preferably calcium metasilicate with an average particle size of 1W100 microns.
