Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily manipulate the work and simply control therefor by detecting the foremost tip of an original documenct with a photoelectric detector disposed in front of the lighting position of the document, thereafter feeding copy paper after a predetermined time interval in accordance with the magnification and registering the copy paper. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectric detector 8 is provided at a position bofore original document 5 reaches the lighting position such that the document may be able to control its position freely in the direction of its movement. The detector 8 can set its position of detection accurately, and the interval between photoelectric position and lighting position can be controlled so as to maintain constant. After the photoelectric detection, the time till the document 5 reaches the lighting position becomes a definite time determined by document transport speed, namely, by the magnification. If pulse member at the start of copy paper feed is set, and if the detector 8 is set at the position where timing matches by the pulse number of one magnification, timing will match correctly in connection with other magnification. If the position of the detector 8 is once controlled, it follows that all magnifications are controlled. Hence the simple and accurate control together with registration can be done.
