Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the low-cost recording and display for the defective minor loop through a simple constitution by providing both the memory part and the control circuit which reads out the address of the defective minor loop form the cassette and memorizes it to the main uit side.

CONSTITUTION: The upper part of the chained line shows the cassette 10 side, and the lower part shows the main body unit 30 side respectively. Unit 30 side consists of RAM31, RAM control circuit 32, writing/reading control circuit 33 and others, and circuit 32 contains cassette insertion detector 34 plus power throw-in detector 35 to unit 30. When the output is given from either one of these units, circuit 33 is actuated to read out the address of the defective minor loop from cassette 10 and then to write the address into RAM31. In minor loop 11, loop 11b is the address memory loop and the rest loop 11c is the data memory loop respectively. The writing of the defective minor loop address into loop 11b and 11c is carried out via address (x) of 11c which is shown by 11b.
