Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title composition having excellent impact strength, transparency, mold releasability and flame-retardancy, and emitting only small amount of toxic gas by cmbustion, by adding mono- and/or poly-hydric alcohol sulfuric acid ester metal salt to a polycarbonate resin.
CONSTITUTION: An alkali(ne earth) metal salt of sulfuric acid ester of mono- and/ or polyhydric alcohols selected from 1W40C halogen-(non)substituted alkyl alcohol, cycloalkyl alcohol, aralkylalcohol, 1W40C halogen-(non)substituted glycols, glycerol, and pentaerythrytol, is added to a polycarbonate resin. The amount of the salt is 0.001W2.0 wt%, pref. 0.01W1.0 wt%.
