Abstract

PURPOSE: Combination of a low-density moving layer that is provided in the fluidized bed of the cracking column, a pipe for transporting fluid flow and means for detecting pressure drops blows up the fluidized particles into the upper part of cracker in stabilized and controlled state to prevent coking thereon.
CONSTITUTION: Particles which are introduced into pipe 22 equipped for transporting fluid flow in cracving column 1 are blown up to the inlet of pipe 8 by fluid- flow-transporting gas 13 and run into pipe 8. As particles flying up from the top surface of fluidized bed 4 collide against insert 26 and fall back, almost particles directly flying into pipe 8 come from pipe 22. Particles in pipe 8 collide against walls of pipe during passing through the pipe to pare off coke depositing on the wall to reduce pressure drop due to the decrease in the sectional area of the pipe. The reduction in pressure drop is detected by differential pressure detector 33 to operate controller 34 and control valve 35 , thereby decreasing the amount of particles introduced into pipe 22
