Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an operation for suppressing an increase of reactive power consumption in an operation of DC voltage reduction and for maintaining a control anlge in each side of power rectifier and power inverter at a suitable value, by a combination specifically made between setter circuit, singal mulitplier circuit, control circuit, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Each circuit of a conversion station A and B will be made symmetrical, with a coupling made between the both stations by a signal transmitter 27A, 27B through a communication circuit. At side of the conversion station A, an output of transformer secondary no load voltage setter 10A is given to an automatic voltage regulator 11A of the transformer tap control circuit through a moltiplier circuit 28A and a transformer tap is controlled by a tap operating circut 14A so as to obtain a transformer secondary on load voltage that corresponds to an output of the multipler circuit 28A. An output of converter DC output voltage setter 19A will be given to a constant voltage control circuit 21. In the conversion station A, an output of the setter 31 is given to a ratio setter circuit 30A. An output of the setter 31 is transmitted to the conversion station B. A circiut construction in the conversion station B is the same as in the station A
