Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare simply the product having excellent precision of dimensions, by using the metal salt as the material for the mold, when the special form material of complicated shape is prepared with the sintering of diffusion joining by means of the hot hydrostatic pressure method.
CONSTITUTION: The mold material 1 is made of the metal salt such as chloride such as NaCl, KCl, etc. sulfate such as Na2SO4, CaSO4, etc. or nitrate such as NaNO3, KNO3, etc. The metal powder, ceramic powder, etc. 2 is filled in the mold material. After having placed the cover 3 made of the same material on its upper face, the mold material is charged into the metallic capsule 4, is degassed in vacuo and is sealed hermetically.
