Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioning system, in which heat exchangers for heat between brine and cooling medium are provided separately and cooling and demoisturing of air is carried out by liquid-solid contactor for contacting cooling drine and air, and further cooling-demoisturing and heating moisturing can be achieved by switching the coolant circulating passage.
CONSTITUTION: In cooling and demoisturing room air, four-way valve 9 is positioned as shown in the drawing. In this state, heat exchanger 7 for exchanging heat between brine and cooling medium functions as condenser, whereas another heat exchanger 8 functions as evaporator. Therefore, brine in liquid reservoir 24 is sent to heat exchanger 8 by pump 6 and cooled by the same, and then it is sprayed from nozzle 21 to the uppe portion in liquid-solid contactor 25, so that air in the room is demoistured. At the time of heating and moisturing the room air, on the other hand, function of the above two heat exchangers 7, 8 is reversed and hot brine is sprayed into the contactor 25, whereby room air is heated and moistured. Thus, by simply selecting the coolant circulating passage, it is enabled to use the system for cooling demoisturing and heating moisturing selectively
