Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare shaping plates for deproducing decorative sheets with surfaces closely similar to nautral wood grain by removing the uncured photo-sensitive resin corresponding to spring wood parts from the base plate to form negative wood pattern plate followed by being finished.
CONSTITUTION: A film prepared by photographing a paper printed with a wood grain pattern is adjusted to desired size in consideration of the change in dimension after impregnation of the grain pattern printed paper with a thermosetting resin and drying and is made transparent in parts corresponding to summer wood and opaque in other parts corresponding to spring wood to prepare the negative film 1. Then photosensitive resin 5 is coated on base 4 and the surface is covered with the negative film 1. They are irradiated with lamps 6 to cure only parts corresponding to summer wood and the resin corresponding spring wood is washed out to form plate 9. Then the surface of plate 9 is shaved to depress the exposed surfaces 8 of the base and simultaneously round edges around summer wood to form shaping plate 10.
