Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent thermal reaction of low boiling point medium by controlling the flow rate of low boiling point medium supplied to a direct type heat exchanger and controlling the temperature of intermediate thermal medium supplied to a heater.
CONSTITUTION: Intermediate thermal medium is supplied with a fixed speed to a heater 2 in which waste heat gas 1 passes, by a circulation pump 5. The temperature of the intermediate thermal medium which is heated by passing through a heater 2 is detected by a temperature detector 3 arranged at the exit of the heater 2, and the medium is supplied to a direct type heat exchanger 6 to which low boiling point medium is supplied through an intermediate thermal medium feeding pipe 3. The output 15 of the temperature detector 13 is applied to a flow rate adjusting valve controlling apparatus 14, and the turning of a flow-rate adjusting valve 11 is controlled. This turning is kept larger as the temperature of the intermediate thermal medium which is detected by the temperature detector 13 becomes higher.
