Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a range finding information in high accuracy by detecting the phase difference between two video signals of a camera or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The outputs of video cameras 1 and 2 are fed to analog delay circuits 5 and 6, respectively, so that they are consecutively circulated and delayed in phase thereby to detect the difference of the respective delayed phases at 7. Thus, the range finding information is obtained by detecting the circulating frequencies when the two phase coincide. In these ways, the highly accurate range finding operation can be automatically accomplished by comparing the video signals in an analog manner.
