Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate beat interference by preventing frequency characteristics, pulse characteristics and linearity from deteriorating by obtaining a lowband converted chrominance signal and frequency-converted signal from a regenerrated signal and by mixing together and recording both signals direct on an unrecorded medium.
CONSTITUTION: This system superposes each other and record a frequency- converted signal, obtained by frequency-modulating the luminance signal of a color video signal and a low-band converted chrominance signal, obtained by frequency- converting the chrominance signal of the video signal into a low-band signal, and records a regenerated signal from a recording medium on an unrecorded medium. This system is provided with a separator circuit which separates a signal from the recording medium into a frequency-converted signal and low-frequency converted chrominance signal and a chroma level adjusting method which keeps constant the level of a color burst signal in the low-frequency-converted chrominance signal separated by the separator circuit. Further, this is provided with a method of compensating frequency characteristics of the separated frequency-converted signal and a method of limiting the amplitude of a signal from the above- mentioned method; output signals of this limiting method and chroma level adjusting method are mixed at an adequate rate and recorded on an unrecorded medium.
