Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When the load of the evaporator decreases and the expansion valve 3 is throttled to reduce the pressure in the evaporator inlet pipe 11, the capacity control valve 9 opens to flow high temperture-high pressure hot gas into the evaporator inlet pipe 11 through the outlet pipe 13. In this case, as the direction of the velocity vector component which is parallel to the evaporator inlet pipe 11 of hot gas and refrigerant steam is in coincidence with the pipe 11, refrigerant gas is further pushed out by hot gas. The refrigerant steam is sufficiently mixed with hot gas in the process of flowing in the pipe 11 and is sent to the evaporator as refrigerant gas of which temperture corresponds to the load. The refrigerant gas temperture is determined only by the opening of both valves 3,9, so that the rate of the refrigerant for the load becomes appropriate and the refrigerating cycle can be stabilized.
