Abstract
PURPOSE: To avoid flowing a liq. coolant into a compressor by providing a check valve at the inlet of the condenser to hold a liq. bypass circuit for bypassing an evaporator and expansion valve so as to exchange heat with a hot gas bypass circuit. CONSTITUTION: A check valve 13 provided at the inlet of a condenser 2 flows a high temp. high pressure coolant to the condenser 2 during the cooling operation but blocks this coolant from flowing back to a hot gas bypass circuit 20 during the deicing operation. This bypass circuit 20 flows a hot gas to evaporate the liq. coolant flowing very thin resistance pipes of a liq. bypass circuit 30 into a vapor lock state due to the heat exchange, thereby increasing the pipe line resistance to limit the flow rate of the coolant from the liq. bypass 30. This blocks the liq. coolant from flowing into a compressor 1 to avoid damaging the compressor 1.
