Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a hydrohoist wherein an inclined supply tube is divided in the upper and lower supply tubes through valves, and a concentrated slurry within the lower tube is delivered with pressure to a transportation tube, thereby reducing the slurry delivery quantity of increase the transportation efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: When a supply tube 1 is filled with a slurry, valves 4 and 15 are closed. Upon this occasion, solids having small particle diameters, contained in the slurry, remain in the upper supply tube 1a, whereas solids having large particle diameters remain in the lower supply tube 1b, thus the concentration of the slurry being increased. Then, a valve 2 is closed, and the slurry within the upper supply tube 1a is discharged by means of a low-pressure slurry pump 8, and the concentrated slurry within the lower supply tube 1b is delivered with pressure to a transportation tube 6 by high-tension clean water exhausted by a high-tension clean water pump 11, and the transportation efficiency is increased by the slurry of a high concentration.
