PURPOSE:To prevent the holding-in of air by a method wherein a supporting means for a base body covered with a thermally shrinking tube and a heating means for thermally shrinking the thermally shrinkage tube are moved relatively, and the tube is shrunk from the end section. CONSTITUTION:A device is provided with a supporting means 3 for a base body 2 covered with a thermally shrinking tube 6, a heating means 8 for thermally shrinking the thermal shrinkage tube 6 and a moving means 13 for relatively moving the supporting means 3 and the heating means 8 and thermally shrinking the thermal shrinkage tube from an end section of the base body 2. The heating means 8 and the supporting means 3 for the base body 2 covered with the thermally shrinking tube are moved relatively, and the tube is thermally shrunk from the end section of the base body 2, thus eliminating the holding-in of air between the shrinking thermal shrinkage tube 6 and the base body 2, then forming coating having an excellent adhering property.
