Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform oil separation from an oil including refrigerant efficiently by providing a float in a float chamber so designed as having the same level always as the liquid surface of the evaporator in order to obtain follow-up control after level change in the evaporator.
CONSTITUTION: When the compressor 1 is started, the pressure on the condenser 3 side becomes higher than that of the evaporator 7 side, producing a pressure difference between the primary and the secondary side of a venturi 15, which gives a suction force. Accordingly, the oil including refrigerant of high density staying at the surface of liquid 7A in the evaporator 7, is sucked and collected. Even though the liquid surface 7A in the evaporator 7 shifts, the following-up after it is possible always thanks to the float device 13 in the float chamber 12, so that an active evaporation is obtained and the requested refrigerating capacity can be always maintained. In this apparatus, the secondary side of the venturi 15 is connected to the downstream of a capacity control valve 1B, so that the differential pressure of the venturi 15 becomes high and collection of oil is promoted.
