Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the number of cases inspected by simplifying and speeding up the acceptance process of specimens, and prevent error in sample taking or data entering in analysis, by attaching machine-readable examine information to the specimen container.
CONSTITUTION: When a specimen container 5 is set at the acceptance part, it is detected by a detector 25, and a detection input enters a control circuir 28, so that 28 sends a drive command to a driving motor M, putting the container 5 and a gluing roller 10 into rotation. When the operator reads the inspection slip of the container 5 and inputs ID No. and inspection item through keys 12, 13, the data is stored in a memory circuit 29, and a label 7 is supplied into a lable printer 9. Then, by the command from circuit 28, ID No. is printed out from the circuit 29 and the label is glued to the container 5. A magnetic head 11 magnetically writes the information of inspection items from circuit 29 into the lable 7, and the same information is simultaneously inputted and stored into the processing device. Then, in later analytical process, the analysis is performed while collating against the information attached to the container, so that error in sample taking or data entering may be prevented.
