Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in noises due to the excessive combustion of a two-point-ignition engine, by providing a distributor which substantially shifts the two-point ignition of the engine to one-point ignition when the load upon the engine is high. CONSTITUTION:A fixed plate 3 made by laminating semicircular ignition spark advancing plates 6, 5 with each other is provided in a casing 1. A rotor shaft 2 extends through the fixed plate 3 so that the plates 5, 6 can swing independently of each other centering the rotor shaft 2. The plate 5 is coupled to a diaphragm unit 7, which is actuated by a negative pressure which varies depending on the running condition of the engine. The plate 6 is coupled to a diaphragm unit 9, which is actuated by the intake negative pressure f the engine. When the load upon the engine is high, the difference between a first and a second ignition phases is increased. At that time, the combustion based on the first ignition is finished if the second ignition is effected. The two-point ignition is thus substantially shifted to the one- point ignition.
