Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a rotary electric razor for preventing energy waste by automatically regulating contact pressure of an inner edge on an outer edge in accordance with cutting resistance applied on the inner edge while shaving.
CONSTITUTION: An inner edge 2 is pushed against the inside of an outer edge 1 by means of an inner edge spring 3 welded fixed to an inner edge holder 4. A drive claw clutch 8 is press fitted in with a motor shaft 7 of a motor 10 facing its drive clow 9 upward. Further, the inner edge holder 4 is put on the motor shaft 7 so as to rotate and slide upward and downward, and the drive claw 9 is engaged with a driven claw 6 of a driven claw clutch 5 formed on the bottom surface of the inner edge holder 4. Claw profiles of the drive claw 9 of the drive claw clutch 8 and the driven claw 6 are made triangular, and slanting surfaces 12 and 11 of the triangle are provided so as to closely contact each other in the turning direction of the motor shaft 7.
