Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent mixing between neighboring stacks in narrow place by computing a position of a boom tip by means of operational processer and comparing the position with a maximum and minimum values for a stacking range and thereby moving the boom and stacker so that the boom tip is always existing within the stacking range.
CONSTITUTION: In order to move from a present stacking position P1 above a first stacking row 104 to a next stacking position P2 above a second stacking row 105, a point P3 above the second stack 105, and to where a boom tip 4a is expected to arrive when the latter is supposed to be slewed by a slewing command angle α' at a present position X, should be projected to the ground to find out a travel distance X3 which is computed by a formula: X3 = l cosα' + X and X3 should be compared with X2. When it results in X3<X2, the boom tip is slewed until the point P3 and moved to the next stacking position P2 by running of the stacker 6. When it results in X3>X2, and angle α1, by which the boom tip 4a is expected to arrive at the maximum value X2, is computed by a formula: α1 = cos-1(X2-X)/land thereby the boom tip 4a is slewed by the angle α1 and converted and moved to the position where coinsides with a boundary line 103 after the computation by a formula: X4 = X - l cosα1.
