PURPOSE:To miniaturize the driver circuit of a large-current switching circuit used for a television receiver, etc., with the need for a stable negative power supply and drive transformer elininated, by providing a delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:The load circuit is composed of power supply 4a, heating coil 15 as a load, and gate turn-off type semiconductor control rectifier element GCS14 as an output switching element. Switching pulse SPI is generated by pulse generator 13 and applied to the base common connection point between transistors 8 and 9 via delay circuit 19. Power supply 4b is connected to transistor 8, and capacitor 20 is to transistor 9; the above mentioned capacitor 20 is charged by the circuit composed mainly of transistor 18 and transformer 21. Transistor 8 turns ON and GCS14 turns OFF to change capacitor 10; and transistor 9 turns ON and GCS turns OFF.
