Abstract

PURPOSE: To lower running costs of a cooling and heating system in use of solar heat and thus to make it easy to attain repayment of the equipment, by improving thermal efficiency of the entire system.
CONSTITUTION: The cooling and heating system in use of solar heat, in accordance with this invention, comprises a heat collecting means 1 for heating heating medium circulated in the system in use of solar heat, an absorption type refrigerator 4 operated with heating medium heated by the heat collecting means 1 serving as heat source and capable of obtaining cool water, and an air conditioner 6 for cooling or heating a room to be air-conditioned by circulating the heating medium or cool water obtained at refrigerator 4 selectively in the system. In such an system arranged as above, a by-pass conduit 11 adapted for by-passing only cooling water and equipped with another refrigerator 10 is connected between refrigerator 4 and air conditioner 6 or at an intermediate portion of heating medium supplying passage 7, and there is further provided a switching means 13 capable of flowing cool water to the by-pass conduit 11.
