Abstract

PURPOSE: To save steel plate material without partly narrowing the magnetic path, by simultaneously stamping out a plurality of columns of the stator cores from a band steel plate wherein adjacent said columns are arranged such that they are displaced and partly entered each other.
CONSTITUTION: When two columns of cores are stamped out from a band steel plate 15, the right and the left columns are arranged such that they are displaced and partly entered each other so that the angular portion formed by intersection of the outer peripheral straight line portion 6a of the core 1 and the arcuate portions 5a, 5b thereof is notched nearly in a V-shape with a wide angle. The side 9 of this V-shaped notch portion is parallel to the outer peripheral straight line portion 6a, and the side 10 forms an arc with a direction opposite to the arcs 5a, 5b, and the length of the notch is preferably about 1/4∼1/2 of the arc 5a considering the dimension of the narrow width portion in the radial direction of the core and the extent of saving of the material. Thus, the steel material 15 can be saved without yielding a narrow width portion where magnetic flux density becomes extremely high.
