Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The value of weaving speed/weaving width x welding speed of the torch is set at 0.9W4. This value is obtained, by detecting the number of revolution of the motor 3 for traveling the truck by the speed-detecting-tachometer 4, and by inputting this value together with the set value into the arithmetic circuit 6, and by operating with these values. Correspondingly to the output of the arithmetic circuit 6, the weaving motor 8 is driven through the driving circuit 7. The number of revolution of the motor 8 is detected by the tachogenerator 9, and the revolution of the motor 8 is compensated by the feedback so as to make above detected value to coincide with the computed value of the weaving speed. According to this method, always suitable weaving apeed can be automatically obtained, against the change in the set value of welding speed to be accompanied by the change in the position of welding.
