Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and the property of heat insulation and transferring of a down tube included in a liquid metal heating steam generator. CONSTITUTION:A steam generator accomodates a drum 1, in which shrouds 5 is supplied with a certain clearance and heat transferring 2 down tube 3 and rise rube 4 which are piped in a clearance made by the drum 1 and the shroud 5 and the internal cylinder 6. The down tube 3 of a heat transfer tube 15 from a feed water inlet tube tap 9 is thicker and smaller in internal diameter than the end tube connecting to the rise tube 4. The upper end of the down tube is connected with a feed water tube plate 16 and the bottom is connected with a communication tube 18 through a reducer 17. This absorbs heat to limit water from increase in temperature at the down tube 3 and provided uniform heat transfer for the heat transferring rise pipe 4 and high reliability of the heat transferring down tube 3.
