Abstract

PURPOSE: Metal molds consist of a number of anvil assembly capable of separately lifing up and down. A pressure reciever preliminarily formed by an upper mold is used to hold a lower mold to provide a higher holding force, enabling production of large variety with small quantity.
CONSTITUTION: An upper metal mold 12 consists of a number of anvil 13 assembly capable of separately lifting up and down driven by the device 14. A lower metal mold 20 consists of a number of anvil 21 assembly capable of separately lifting up and down driven by the device 23. First, soft metal such as Cu, A1 is pressed by the desirably shaped upper mold 12 and the flat lower mold 20. This provides a pressure receiver 22 having desired product shape. Press operation uses this pressure receiver 22 which is contactedly supported by the device 23. An object C to be molded is placed on the lower mold 20 and pressed to form product D. This means provides a higher holding force to the lower mold 20 and makes it easy to change the metal molds, enabling production of large variety with small quantity.
