Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a time-division line-concentration switch which enables both multiple connection and multiple access, by adding a circulating memory unit. CONSTITUTION:To attain multiple access, the same subscriber's number as that stored in register REG of a subscriber's circuit which has a (n)-time bit rate is written into the (n)-number difference addresses of circulating memory unit CYM. While every address of circulating memory unit CYM is read once, namely, during one frame, the same subscriber's terminal is connected to a highway (n) times by a time slot, thereby attaining multiple access. To make a multiple connection, the same subscriber's number is stored in registers REG of several subscriber's circuits to be multi-connected, and the same subscriber's number mentioned above is written into one address of circulating memory unit CYM. Therefore, several subscriber's terminals are connected to highway HY1.2 at the same time by the time slot which corresponds to this address.
