Abstract

PURPOSE: A semiconductor scanning device suitable for coupling to optical fibers, etc. is obtained by providing the row of respectively independent laser light emitting elements and the row of respectively independent light receiving elements parallel to said row and opposedly to each light emitting element on one semiconductor substrate, directly connecting each opposing light element only through the substrate respectively and applying a multi-phase pulse voltage to the light receiving element row.
