Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sharing method of a protocol control memory, which reduces the control memory used in respective communication protocols when plural types of communication protocols are loaded on one processor. SOLUTION: The control memory 23 required for respective calls in the respective communication protocols is arranged for a memory which can be accessed in common by the respective communication protocols. The size of the control memory 23 is set to be that obtained by giving allowance to the largest size required in the respective communication protocols. When the call is generated, a call reference number 22 being a unique number allocated to the call is set to be the number common to the respective communication protocols.
