2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a work prior to sewing a sword rag to a cuff opening of a sleeve cloth, one side portion of the sword rag cloth is folded upward and pressed, and the other side of the sword rag cloth is shifted toward the other side. The template is placed at a predetermined position, and the outer peripheral portion of the ragged sword cloth is sequentially arranged along one oblique side, the other oblique side, one side, and the other side of the tip side of the template. After folding, each folding operation was performed by pressing with an iron or the like to form a sword rag. Then, the sleeve cloth on which the sword rag is set is placed on the auxiliary table of the sewing machine main body, and after the sewing start portion is positioned below the needle in the sewing machine main body, the holding plate is lowered to operate the sewing machine main body. While the sleeve cloth is being fed by the feeding device on the auxiliary table side, a seam is formed at a portion to be sewn, and after sewing each part, the sewing machine body is temporarily stopped, and the sleeve cloth is rotated to form the next seam. The sewing direction was adjusted to the feed direction, and the sewing was repeatedly performed by operating the sewing machine main body, thereby sewing the sword rag on the sleeve cloth.

However, in the sewing method described above, the step of folding the ragged sword cloth and the step of sewing the ragged sword to the sleeve cloth must be performed at different places. If two spaces are required and one worker performs both operations, labor costs are reduced, but the number of sheets processed per unit time is also reduced. Conversely, two workers can perform both operations. If shared, the number of processed sheets per unit time increases, but the labor cost also increases. Therefore, there is a problem that must be solved, such as being uneconomical in any case. Also, the gap between the outer side of the rag and the seam must be about 0.8 to 1 mm, and both ends of the seam on each side must match the corners of the sword rag. It was possible.

In short, according to the present invention, the work table 6 which is movable in the XY directions is provided below the sewing head 4 of the sewing machine main body 2, so that the work table 6 can be moved in the X direction or the Y direction. By singly or in combination, you can sew straight, diagonal, and curved,
Regardless of the shape of the sword rag P, sewing can be performed correspondingly. The needle groove 35 having the same outer peripheral shape as the sword rag P is provided directly below the sewing machine head on the work table.
The folding plate 3 is provided on the outer side of the one oblique side 36 on the front end side, on the extension of the needle groove 35, and on the outer sides 37, 37a of both sides of the needle groove 35.
Work tables 6
By setting a template 32 to be described later on the ragged cloth W placed on the upper predetermined position, the ragged cloth W can be set on the work table 6 in a stable state.
When the 31, 31a are advanced, the outer peripheral portion of the ragged sword cloth W located at the tip of the folding plates 31, 31a is moved to the folding plates 31, 31a.
Can be automatically folded back while being held between the mold and the template 32, and the state can be maintained, so that a pressing step using an iron can be omitted as in the related art.
Also, since the template 32 is removably disposed at the tip of a mounting plate 50 provided on the advance / retreat means 47 so as to be movable up and down, which matches the outer peripheral shape of the sword rag P, the sword rag cloth W is formed with the work table 6 and the mold. Since it can be set between the plates 32 and the sword rag cloth W is strongly clamped between the stable work table 6 and the template 32,
Even when folded back so as to be sandwiched between the folding plates 31, 31 a... And the template 32, the fabric is fed out from the portion sandwiched between the work table 6 and the template 32 and is not deformed. Can be folded back, and the ragged sword cloth W
The template 32 can be retracted so as not to hinder the sewing operation to the sleeve cloth B of the present embodiment. Also, since the pressing plate 33 for sewn the sword rag P and the sleeve cloth B so as to sew the sword rag P over the template 32 is vertically movable, the folded sword rag cloth W is held in that state and folded. Since the whole of the outer peripheral portion can be reliably pressed and brought into contact with the sleeve cloth B, the process can be shifted to the sewing process as it is, and problems such as misalignment and puckering can be prevented. Therefore, in the automatic sewing apparatus 1 of the sword rag P according to the present invention, all the operations from setting the sword rag cloth W and the sleeve cloth B to sewing can be performed below the sewing head 4 in the sewing machine main body 2. The ragged sword cloth W and the sleeve cloth B can be sewn without moving on the work table 6, so that the sword ragged cloth W and the sleeve cloth B can be securely sewn without causing defects such as stitching and puckering. In addition, sewing can be performed accurately. Further, at the time of the initial setting, only the work of positioning the work table 6 is sufficient, and the sewing can be reliably performed only by the slide control of the work table 6, so that the control of two types of driving systems is unnecessary as in the related art, and the apparatus is simplified. Can be achieved. Therefore, in the automatic sword rag sewing apparatus 1 according to the present invention, only one working space is required, and it is sufficient if there is a space around the work table 6 that can move by the size of the sword rag P. In addition, the entire apparatus can be reduced in size and space can be saved.

A tip member in which the holding plate 33 is arranged in series
Since it is constituted by the 71 and the intermediate member 70 and the crankshaft 72 connecting the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70, the seam H is formed by the needle S in the space 74 formed between the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70. I can do it. The crankshaft 72 is disposed above the center of the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70, and the bent portion 73 is disposed at a position corresponding to the interval 74 between the tip member 71 and the intermediate member 70. And the middle part as the tip member 71
And the intermediate member 70 so as to be rotatable.
By appropriately reciprocating only the position of the bent portion 73 while the intermediate member 70 is in the connected state, the sewing at the interval portion 74 and the outer peripheral portion of the sword rag P can be performed without delay.

It is also conceivable that the tip member 71 of the holding plate 33 in the upper standby state is shaken when touched during the work, and the inclined state is maintained as a worst case. When cloth B is pressed, sleeve cloth B
Is likely to shift, but since the sewing machine head 4 is provided with the stopper 82 that comes into contact with the upper surface of the tip member 71 of the holding plate 33 in the upper standby state, even if the tip member 71 is touched during the work, Since the tip member 71 is not moved by the stopper 82, the sword rag P and the sleeve cloth B can be surely pressed by the lower surfaces of the intermediate member 70 and the tip member 71, and the practical effect is extremely large.
