Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the front part of a rear fender on a vehicle body frame with high workability. SOLUTION: Roughly U-shaped front side mounting part 40 opened forward are fitted to the right and left of the front part of a rear fender 31, and a vibration isolating rubber material 44 is fitted to the vehicle body inner end of a mounting shaft 43 which passes through the reinforced part 42 of a seat rail 22 and protrudes to the inside and outside. By inserting the rear fender 31 between right and left seat rails 22, making the front side mounting part 40 meet the vibration isolating rubber material 44, and pushing it forward, the vibration isolating rubber material 44 is engaged with the front side mounting part 40, and the rear fender 31 is supported on the seat rail 22 side. The top part of a buffer 26 is mounted on the external end of the mounting shaft 43.

According to the present invention, the rear fender is provided with a mounting portion which forms a substantially U-shaped concave portion which is opened to the front of the vehicle body and is fitted with a convex member provided on the vehicle body frame in advance. It can be supported on the vehicle body frame only by pushing it in toward the convex member from behind. Therefore, unlike the related art, it is not necessary to deform the side surface of the rear fender inward of the vehicle body, so that the mounting operation is simple and quick, and a structure excellent in the mounting property is obtained. Further, since a large elastic deformation is not required unlike the conventional example, the rear fender can be formed of a relatively rigid material, and the degree of freedom in selecting the material of the rear fender is increased.

A sub-frame 52 is disposed in advance inside the inside, and the outer end of a cylindrical nut 53 supported through the side of the sub-frame 52 is inserted into a through hole formed in the rear side surface of the rear fender 31 through a grommet 54. As a result, the rear fender 31 and the sub-frame 52 are made smaller, and the outer end of the nut 53 is in contact with the end of the caliper mounting shaft 50. The nut 53, the grommet 54, and the through hole in the side surface of the rear fender correspond to the rear mounting portion 41.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described. As shown in FIG. 9, when the front fender 35 is inserted from above into the space between the pair of left and right seat rails 22, and the front mounting portion 40 is pushed forward in alignment with the mounting shaft 43, the anti-vibration rubber 44 is obtained.
Are fitted into the caliper mounting shaft 50, and
The guide ribs 4 are positioned and attached by fitting the guide ribs 4 into the annular grooves 44a (FIG. 1) formed in the outer peripheral grooves 4.

Thus, the front portion of the rear fender 31 is supported by the seat rail 22 with the front mounting portion 40 engaging with the reinforcing portion 42. As a result, the front part of the rear fender 31 is temporarily fixed, so that the rear mounting part 41 of the rear part and the caliper mounting shaft 5 are fixed.
The carrier 30 is tightened together with the bolt 51 so as to coincide with zero.

In this manner, the front portion can be engaged with and supported by the seat rail 22 simply by inserting the rear fender 31 from behind into the space between the seat rails 22.
It is not necessary to attach the rear fender 31 while elastically deforming the rear fender 31 easily, and the operation for supporting the front portion of the rear fender 31 on the seat rail 22 side becomes simple and quick. In addition, since a relatively rigid material can be used, the degree of freedom in selecting a material when manufacturing the rear fender is increased.

【0029】しかも、このように前部側を仮止めできる

In addition, the front side can be temporarily fixed in this manner, and the sub-frame 52 can be pre-assembled inside the rear fender 31 in advance, so that when the rear side of the rear fender 31 is mounted, the front side is left alone. Work can be performed with both hands, and workability is extremely improved in this respect as well.

Further, the number of parts can be reduced because the mounting shaft 43 is used in common with the shaft member provided for mounting the shock absorber 26. However, the projecting member from the seat rail 22 side that engages with the front mounting portion 40 does not necessarily need to be shared with the mounting shaft of the shock absorber 26, and it is optional to provide another member, and in this case, the front mounting Part 40 and seat rail 2
The degree of freedom in setting the mounting location with the two sides is increased.
