続用フランジと、 この一対のフランジ間に亘って固定連結され、その軸線
方向の中間部には径内方に向けて開口する断面略U字形
の突曲部が形成されているゴム製の面間調整用リング部
材とからなる面間調整装置において、 上記ゴム製の面間調整用リング部材の肉厚内に、第1の
設定記憶温度での加熱に伴い上記断面略U字形の突曲部
をその開口部が閉鎖されるように屈曲変形させて該リン
グ部材の軸線方向長さを縮小させる第1形状記憶合金を
埋設していることを特徴とする面間調整装置。
