のように下地材の角頂部両側に延伸して出隅用外壁材と
下地材の両部材間を水密的に接着して内装材、例えば柱
との間に間隙があっても雨水等が侵入することはない。
なおコーキング材に代えて他の接着剤で下地材のL形部
分に適宜巾に塗着する方法でもよい。又下地材は出隅用
外壁材と一体に取付けられるので出隅部分を補強し、か
つ内壁材を保護する作用がある。

内装材の間に本発明の下地材及び下地材に取付けたコー
キング材の水密的作用によってその難点が解消されるこ
ととなった。又下地材は0.4mm〜1.5mmの薄板
で成形し軽量、かつ低コストで提供できる利点がある。
取付固定方法も例えば釘孔をあらかじめ穿孔して外壁材
に取付固定する必要もなく外壁材と下地材を直接建物内
装材に固定できるので施工も容易で出隅工法の省力化を
妨げることがなく耐久性と共に出隅用外壁の強度と非浸
水性について従来にない作用を果すもので出隅用外壁工
法上大きな利点をもたらす効果がある。
