おいて切断させてしまう等の問題が発生していた。また
表皮材の切断(トリミング)も真空成形型に対してトリ
ミング刃の刃先が均一に当て切りされないため強い押圧
力を要し、トリミングのシリンダ機構が大型化する問題
もあった。本発明は上記の問題に鑑みて成されたもの
で、基材の下周縁部に水平方向に突出する縁部がある場
合において、表皮材の巻き込みの際に表皮材を傷つけた
り途中において切断させてしまうという不都合が起こら
ないと共に表皮材のトリミングを簡単確実にできる真空
成形同時巻き込み方法及びその装置を提供することを目
的とする。

き込み装置は、周縁部を立壁に構成すると共に該立壁に
高周波電極を埋め込み、もって下周縁部に水平方向に突
出した縁部を形成した基材を該立壁の下端に対して浮か
せた状態にして載置すると共に該基材上部に被せた表皮
材を真空吸引により該基材上面に貼着させるようにした
真空成形型と、前記真空成形型における立壁外側上方
に、前記表皮材を基材の縁部上面に押さえつけ可能にし
た押さえ部材と、前記真空成形型の立壁外側においてそ
の上面が前記基材の縁部下面に沿って往復移動可能にさ
れると共に前記高周波電極に対応する電極を設けたトリ
ミング板と、を備えたことを特徴とするものである。

製で円筒状に構成してあって内部に冷却水路5を有して
いる。前記真空成形型3の上部には、下周縁部に水平方
向に突出する縁部Fを有する基材Wが載置され、前記立
壁3Aの下端に対してその下端が浮き上がった状態に支
持される。さらに前記真空成形型3上に載置された基材
Wの縁部F上方には、表皮材Sを縁部F上面に押さえつ
けるための押さえ部材6が昇降可能にして設けられてい
る。また前記真空成形型3の立壁3Aの外側には、前記
真空成形型3に載置された基材Wの縁部Fの下面の延長
線上外側においてシリンダ7を介して水平往復移動可能
にしてトリミング板8が配置されている。なお該トリミ
ング板8は、前記立壁3Aに埋め込まれた高周波電極4
に対応する電極になっていて前記高周波電極4には電流
が流され前記立壁3Aとトリミング板8とが特定の位置
関係になるまで接近するとトリミング板8の先端が所定
の温度に高周波誘導加熱されるように構成されている。
なお図中9はトリミング板を冷却するための冷却管であ
る。また図中10は表皮材Sの周縁をクランプして図示
されないヒータにより表皮材Sを加熱軟化させ、加熱軟
化された表皮材Sを基材W上に被せるクランプバーであ
る。

え部材6が逆作動してトリミング板8が表皮材S部分か
ら離されると共に押さえ部材6も離されて図5の状態に
された後真空吸引を停止し、クランプバー10に保持さ
れている表皮材Sの余り部分が取り除かれると共に成形
された成形品(基材Wに表皮材Sを貼着すると共に縁部
Fに巻き込んで溶断したもの)を真空成形型3から取り
出す。以下真空成形型3上に次の基材Wを載置し、加熱
軟化させた表皮材Sを基材W上に被せ真空成形型3側か
らの吸引作用により表皮材Sを吸引密着させて図1の状
態にされて上記の作動を繰り返し行う。

施できるようになる。

部分を該縁部の基端において高周波誘導加熱により溶断
