ース上板2は連結片11を支点にして自由端側が持ち上
げられる。従って、磁気ヘッド4は前方へ傾きながらベ
ース下板1に対して矢印B方向へ上昇する。このこと
は、磁気テープ6の上端側で磁気ヘッド4の磁気テープ
6に対する当たりが増加するので、磁気テープ6は磁気
ヘッド4に対して相対的に矢印C方向へ下降することに
なる。図5に示すように逆に調整ネジ5を矢印D(時
計)方向に回すと、磁気ヘッド4は矢印方向へ下降す
る。即ち、磁気ヘッド4は後方へ傾きながら下降する。
従って、磁気テープ6の下端側が緊張し、該磁気テープ
6はせり上がり現象を生じ、磁気ヘッド4に対して相対
的に矢印C方向へ上昇することになる。斯くて、磁気テ
ープ6に対する磁気ヘッド4のあおり調整は、少ない調
整量で容易に行うことを可能としている。尚、調整ネジ
5の位置は、図2に示すように、磁気ヘッド4の磁気ギ
ャップ4aと調整ネジ5との中心を結ぶ線を磁気テープ
6の走行面に対して直交する仮想垂直平面13内に近似
する位置に配備する。該仮想垂直平面13内に連結部1
1の幅方向の略中心が位置するように台板3を形成する
のがベターである(図2参照)。磁気ヘッド4のアジマ
ス調整は、ベース上板2にねじ込まれたアジマス調整ネ
ジ8の先端をベース下板1の上面に当接させ、該調整ネ
ジ8により行う。台板3のプレス加工時、ベース上板2
のネジ孔2a側を透孔2b側より下降気味に、即ち、左方
向に傾くように傾向付けて形成し、未調整時は図3に示
すように、磁気ヘッド4が左傾した状態にしておく。こ

る。調整ネジ8を締め付ける方向(時計方向)に回すと
ベース上板2が持ち上げられ、磁気ヘッド4は図面右方
向へ傾斜する。調整ネジ8を緩める方向(反時計方向)
へ回すと、磁気ヘッド4は左方向へ傾き、磁気テープ6
に対する磁気ギャップ4aの姿勢調整が可能である。こ
の時、ベース上板2はベース下板1に対してあおり調整
ネジ5により固定されているので、アジマス調整ネジ8
の調整による磁気ヘッド4の高さ、及びあおりには何ら
