Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.既知の基準情報を有する被受信信号のオフセット周波数推定を行う方法で あって: (a)前記基準情報を前記被受信信号から抽出する段階; (b)前記基準情報を濾波して、被濾波基準シーケンスを出力する段階; (c)前記被濾波基準シーケンスを所定の基準信号に対して相関させ、相関値 を形成する段階;および (d)前記相関値からオフセット信号の特徴的な推定値を決定する段階; によって構成されることを特徴とする方法。 2.前記所定の基準信号が、ノイズのない候補のシーケンスであって、ノイズ のない候補の前記シーケンスの各候補の所定の時間単位あたりの位相増加が前出 の候補よりも大きく、段階(c)が前記候補のそれぞれを前記被濾波基準シーケ ンスと相関させて各対応候補の相関値を形成する段階によってさらに構成される 請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記オフセット信号の特徴的推定値がオフセット周波数推定値であり、段 階(d)が、ピーク相関値を検出する段階と、前記ピーク相関値に対応する候補 の所定の値に基づいて前記オフセット周波数推定値を決定する段階によってさら に構成される請求項2記載の方法。 4.段階(c)が前記被濾波基準シーケンスの離散フーリ エ変換を実行する段階によって構成される請求項3記載の方法。 5.前記被受信信号が初期獲得された後に: (e)前記基準情報を濾波して被濾波基準信号を出力し、前記被濾波基準信号 の遅延複製を形成する段階; (f)前記被濾波基準信号を共約して、共約信号を形成し、前記遅延複製と前 記共約信号とを相関させて更なる相関値を形成する段階; (g)前記相関値を濾波して被濾波相関値を形成し、前記被濾波相関値のオフ セット角度を決定する段階;および (h)前記の更なる相関値を所定のオフセット角度で積分して、更なるオフセ ット信号の特徴的推定値を形成する段階; によってさらに構成される請求項3記載の方法。 6.前記所定のオフセット角度が前記オフセット信号の特徴的推定値である請 求項5記載の方法。 7.前記被受信信号が初期獲得された後に: (e)前記基準情報を濾波して被濾波基準信号を出力する段階; (f)候補の更なるシーケンスのそれぞれが候補の更なるシーケンスの他のそ れぞれとは異なる所定の角度値を有するとき、候補の更なるシーケンスのそれぞ れを、前記被濾波基準信号に相関させて複数の品質推定値を形成する段階;およ び (g)前記複数の品質推定値の最良のものに対応する候補の前記の更なるシー ケンスの第1番目の候補の所定の角度値から、更なるオフセット信号の特徴的推 定値を決定する段階; によってさらに構成される請求項3記載の方法。 8.既知の基準情報を有する第1信号のコヒーレント受信を行う受信機と、前 記第1信号から前記基準情報を抽出する抽出器であって、前記受信機が: (a)前記基準情報を濾波して被濾波基準シーケンスを出力する濾波手段; (b)前記被濾波基準シーケンスを所定の基準信号に相関させて相関値を形成 する相関手段;および (c)前記相関値からオフセット信号の特徴的推定値を決定する決定手段; によって構成されることを特徴とするオフセット周波数推定器を備える受信機 。 9.前記被濾波基準シーケンスが複数の要素を備え、前記所定の基準信号が前 記被濾波基準シーケンスの最終要素の共約表現であり、前記オフセット信号の特 徴的推定値がオフセット周波数推定値である受信機であって: 前記相関手段が前記複数の要素のそれぞれを前記共約表現に対して相関するよ う動作することができ; 前記決定手段が前記相関値から時間ラグ値を決定し、所定のスケーリング量だ け前記時間ラグ値の逆数をスケーリ ングして前記オフセット周波数推定値を形成するよう動作することのできる請求 項8記載の受信機。 10.前記相関手段が、前記被受信信号が初期獲得された後で、前記複数の要 素の各サブセットのみを前記共約表現に対して相関するよう、さらに動作するこ とのできる請求項9記載の受信機。
