Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition extremely effective to proliferative acanthosis, dryness accompanied by erythema, and change of squamous properties, having effective activities for inhibiting dandruff and safe to the scalp by formulating a specific plant extract as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This composition for a head is obtained by formulating one or more kinds selected from plant extracts of Kayu rapet (Parameria laevigata), Kemukus (Piper cubeba), Tempuyung (Sonchus arvensis L.), Belantas (Pluchea indica L.), Mesoyi (Massoia aromatica Becc.), Pule (Alstonia scholaris), Pulowaras (Alycia reindwartii Bl.) and Sintok (Cinnamomum sintoc Bl.). These eight kinds of plants are the plants growing in dry grassland, pasture, etc., in Indonesia. The formulating amount of the plant extract is 0.001-10 wt.% based on the total amount of the composition.

ン（ＺＰＴ）も抗菌剤の範疇に含まれるが、これを多量
に用いることはできるだけ避けることが望ましいといわ
れている。本発明は前記従来技術の問題点に鑑みてなさ
れたものであり、その目的は有効なフケ抑制作用を持
ち、しかも頭皮に対し安全性も良好な頭部用組成物を提

を得るべく、鋭意研究を重ねた結果、特定の植物抽出物

発明に用いられる植物類は、特にインドネシアの乾性草
原、牧草などに生える植物である。本発明に用いられる
抽出物は上記植物の葉、茎、花、樹皮、種子または果
実、植物全草等を抽出溶媒と共に浸漬または加熱還流し
た後、濾過し、濃縮して得られる。本発明に用いられる
抽出溶媒は、通常抽出に用いられる溶媒であれば何でも
よく、特にメタノール、エタノール等のアルコール類、
含水アルコール類、アセトン、酢酸エチルエステル等の
有機溶媒を単独あるいは組み合わせて用いることができ

状を評価した。 （評価)実使用によるフケの予防、治療の効果を次の４
段階で評価し、有効以上が全症例に対して占める割合を
有効率として示した。 著効：著しいフケの減少とかゆみの消失。 有効：フケの減少とかゆみの軽減。 やや有効：フケの減少か、かゆみの軽減かのどちらかを

ものである。また、本発明の頭部用組成物は特にシャン
プー、リンス等の界面活性剤に起因する頭皮刺激により
発生するフケの予防及び治療に有効性が高い。さらに頭
