2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when manufacturing a gusset folding bag, generally, a laminated film having a heat-fusible film laminated on the back side is supplied, and both ends are vertically fused to form a tube. Then, the horizontal fusion bonding and the vicinity of the horizontal fusion bonding portion were cut to form a bag. When using a heat-sealing film such as polyethylene or polypropylene itself, a single-layer tubular film is manufactured from the beginning by inflation extrusion, and this film is subjected to gusset folding processing to be horizontally fused. In addition, bag making has also been performed by a cutting process.

However, in the prior art, only one bag is produced by one horizontal fusion and cutting process. In addition, since a single film is supplied to make a bag, it is impossible or extremely troublesome to use only the gusset (that is, the gusset-folded portion) as another material. Similarly, it has been almost impossible to industrially and inexpensively produce a bag using the front film and the back film as separate materials. The gusset folding bag has a square bottom when the content is loaded, so the content is well-fitted, especially when the content is thick, such as powder, granules, etc. In this case, the bag is preferable because it is upright. However, as described above, since the production requires time for gusset folding, a more efficient production method has been required.

In the vertical fusion bonding, a gusset film having a width twice as large as the gusset folding depth is folded at both ends as a gusset film by folding the heat fusible film layer outward, and the edges are folded. Lines are supplied in line with the edges of the front film and the back film. If the width of the film for the front part and the film for the back part is the same as the width of the front part of the gusset folding bag to be manufactured, only one bag is manufactured at a time. When using a film that is not heat-sealable on the inside, apply a hot-melt bond or a water-soluble bond to the part to be bonded, and in the case of a hot-melt adhesive, heat and press,
In the case of a water-soluble bond, it may be pressed.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The film used in the present invention may be a single-layer film or a laminated film as long as at least one surface is a heat-fusible film. In the case of a single-layer film, a polyethylene film or a polypropylene film having a relatively low melting point is used. When using a material such as non-heat-fusible polyester, nylon, paper, or non-woven fabric, a heat-fusible layer is laminated on at least one surface. Examples of the heat-fusible layer include low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. In order to enhance other properties such as the air-blocking property, a metal deposition layer such as polyvinylidene chloride or aluminum can be provided, or other material layers can be laminated.

When only one surface of the gusset film is a heat-fusible layer, the films are arranged so that the heat-fusible layers are in contact with each other. That is, the film for the front and back portions has the heat-fusible layer disposed inside, and the film for the gusset has the heat-fusible layer disposed outside. The gusset insertion bag obtained has a gusset insertion site divided into two parts at the horizontal fusion splicing part. When both sides of the gusset film are heat-fusible layers, the obtained horizontal fusion-bonded portion of the gusset folding bag is a case where four films are integrally fused at the gusset folding site and the contents are loaded. The bottom is likely to be an accurate square.

After the cutting, the horizontal fusing is performed at constant intervals, that is, at intervals of the depth of the product bag, while feeding the bag material at a constant speed without breaking the line. Using a pair of heat bars, horizontal fusion is performed on all of the x bags at once. Numeral 11 denotes a horizontal fusion bonding portion. Finally, by cutting at once at the horizontal cutting line 12, x bags are manufactured at once. The cutting line 12 should not be in contact with the horizontal fusion spliced portion 11 and is preferably close to the horizontal fusion spliced portion 11 within a range where the cutting line 12 does not securely contact. The positional relationship between the horizontal fusion bonding portion 11 and the horizontal cutting line 12 may be either before or after in the film feeding direction as long as it does not contact the horizontal fusion bonding portion 11. In addition, by incorporating a cutting blade into a heat bar for horizontal fusion, horizontal fusion and horizontal cutting can be performed simultaneously.
