Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an elevator simply in low and medium-rise buildings by providing a support column whose upper end is attached to an upper story of an earthquake-proof story and lower end is attached to a lower story of the earthquake-proof story on a story layer of an earthquake-proof device and holding a guide rail of the elevator by the support column. SOLUTION: A guide rail 2 which guides the travel of an elevator cage 3 to an elevator shaft is installed vertically, and a support column 6 is installed on a story layer of an earthquake-proof device. As for the support column 6, its upper end is attached to an upper story of an earthquake-proof story, for example, at a position which corresponds to a ceiling of the earthquake- proof story, and its lower end is attached to a lower story of the earthquake- proof story, for example, at a position which corresponds to a floor of the earthquake-proof story. A horizontal arm is provided and protrudes from the support column 6 towards the elevator shaft, and a tip of the horizontal arm is fixed and held to the guide rail 2 of an elevator. Consequently, it is possible to use the elevator simply in low and medium-rise buildings and take refuge safely when an earthquake occurs.

<A> Structure of a building. An object to which the elevator apparatus of the present invention is adopted is a building in which one building is divided in the middle as shown in FIG. 1 and the vibration isolation device 1 is interposed in the middle level. A conventionally known device such as a device using laminated rubber, a device using Teflon having a small friction coefficient, or the like can be used as the vibration isolation device 1. In any case of the vibration isolators 1, a relative horizontal movement occurs above and below the floor where the vibration isolators 1 are installed during an earthquake.

<B> Guide rail. A guide rail 2 for guiding the movement of the elevator car 3 is installed in the elevator shaft in the vertical direction as in the conventional case. The guide rail 2 can use a conventional general guide rail as it is.

<C> Restricted band. The restraining band 4 may be attached so as to surround the guide rail 2. The distance between the guide rails 2 can be accurately maintained even during deformation by being restrained from the surroundings by the restraining band 4. As a result, it is possible to prevent the elevator cage 3 from derailing. The attachment position of the restraining band 4 is preferably set at a position above and below a support position of a support column described later.

<D> Fixed bracket. In the elevator shaft, brackets 5 protrude from the surrounding wall surface toward the internal space on the upper and lower levels of the vibration isolation floor. The guide rail 2 is fixed from the periphery by the bracket 5. The bracket 5 firmly holds the guide rail 2 from the periphery using a simple steel material or the like whose dimensions and positions do not change. In this way, by fixing the rails from the surroundings on the upper and lower floors of the seismic isolation floor, the deformation of the rails can be distributed to multiple floors, and even if the upper and lower floors are displaced during an earthquake, the rail deformation is gentle Can be Therefore, the rail stress can be kept within the elastic range, and the elevator car can be moved smoothly even during deformation.

<E> Support column. The support column 6 is installed on the level of the vibration isolator. The support strut 6 is attached to the upper end of the vibration-isolated floor, for example, at a position corresponding to the ceiling of the vibration-isolated floor. The lower end of the support column 6 is attached to a lower floor of the vibration-isolated floor, for example, at a position corresponding to the floor of the vibration-isolated floor.
The horizontal arm projects from the support column 6 toward the elevator shaft. Then, the tip of the horizontal arm is fixed to the guide rail 2 of the elevator. Then, the support rail 6 can hold the guide rail 2. Further, when the support column 6 is tilted during an earthquake, the guide rail 2 which has been in a vertical state until now can be tilted systematically in a state substantially along the tilt of the support column 6.

<F> Universal joint. The upper and lower ends of the support column 6 are universal joints 6.
1 and attached to the upper and lower floors. That is, both the upper end and the lower end of the support column 6 can be displaced in the entire circumferential direction instead of being integrally fixed to the slabs on the upper and lower floors. Therefore, no matter what direction the upper and lower floors are displaced relative to each other during an earthquake, the support columns 6 can be freely inclined and are not damaged.

<G> Lifting and lowering of the elevator car 3. Next, the operation will be described. During an earthquake, the upper floor and the lower floor relatively move horizontally via the level of the vibration isolation device 1.
Then, since the upper and lower ends of the support column 6 are attached by the universal joint 61, the upper end of the column 6 follows the movement of the upper floor, and the lower end follows the movement of the lower floor and the middle is continuously deformed. As a result, the guide rail 2 supported by the support column 6 is continuously deformed in substantially the same state. Therefore, even at the floor where the vibration isolation device 1 is installed, the guide rail 2 can maintain a smooth continuous shape without being partially deformed at a steep angle. For this reason, the elevator car 3 that was moving on the floor of the vibration isolator 1 at the time of the earthquake may be tilted, but ascending or descending is not prevented, and the operation of the known sensor or the like causes the elevator car 3 to move. It is possible to smoothly arrive at and stop at the hierarchy or the hierarchy above and below it.

According to the elevator apparatus of the present invention, as described above, the deformation of the guide rails 2 is deformed smoothly without being concentrated on a part, so that the elevator car 3 is prevented from moving smoothly even during an earthquake. The passengers can safely evacuate without the need.
