2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional binding for a snowboard boot, a binding disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-503389 is known. In this known device, both arms of the shoe heel support are mounted on side walls standing on both sides of the base plate so as to be movable in the front-rear direction and rotationally adjustable with respect to an axis perpendicular to the base plate. A restraint plate is rotatably attached to the board at the center, and after adjusting the board to a desired angle with respect to the longitudinal centerline of the snowboard, the restraint plate is screwed onto the snowboard to mount the board on the snowboard. It is fixed to.

However, in this known binding, in order to accommodate boots of various widths, the front end of the side wall erected on the base plate is widened and the tip of the shoe is curved so as to face inward. are doing. Correspondingly, the shape of the substrate is also widened with its front end portion facing inward.

Therefore, in this known binding, when the boots having a relatively small shoe tip side and a narrow width are mounted, both side portions on the shoe tip side do not abut on both side walls standing upright on both sides of the substrate, and there is a gap therebetween. Even if a binding band is put on the shoe tip side, the stability of the shoe tip side will be poor. Further, since the shapes of the substrate and the side wall are different between the left and right of the shoe, it is necessary to manufacture the left and right separately, which results in high manufacturing cost.

Accordingly, the shoe heel support piece is adapted to the length of the boot by moving the shoe heel support piece forward and backward with respect to the base plate, and the shoe width support piece is adapted to the lateral width of the boot on the side of the snowboard. It can be adapted by projecting and retracting obliquely forward with respect to the center line, and the boot can be stably attached to the snowboard by closely adhering the shoe heel support piece and the shoe width support piece to boots of all sizes.
Further, since it is possible to adapt the shape of the left and right boots by adjusting the shoe width receiving piece, it is not necessary to manufacture the bindings in the left and right separate shapes.

An inverted frusto-conical opening 3a (see FIG. 5) is bored in substantially the center of the substrate 2, and a fixing plate 4 having the same cross section is fitted therein. A large number of chevron projections 3b are provided on either one of the fitting surfaces of the fixing plate 4 and the inverted truncated conical opening.
On the other hand, a V-shaped groove corresponding to this is formed on the other side along the circumferential direction, and the fixing plate 4 is rotated at a predetermined angle with respect to the substrate so that the two are fitted to each other so that the fixing plate 4 is rotated at the rotational position. Will not shift. The fixing plate 4 is provided with four elongated holes 5, and all the elongated holes extend in the same direction. Also, a large number of scales are attached to the peripheral portion of the fixing plate,
The rotation angle of the fixing plate with respect to the substrate 3 can be indicated.

As shown in FIG. 1, a bolt 6 is inserted into the long hole 5 of the fixing plate 4, and the bolt is screwed into a screw hole previously formed in the snowboard body, whereby the binding of the present invention is applied to the snowboard. It is fixed. As shown in the partial view of FIG. 1, the snowboard main body is provided with two rows of five screw holes 7, and any four screw holes can be selected from these screw holes depending on the width of the user's open leg on the snowboard. By doing so, the spacing between the front and rear bindings is determined, then the angle of each binding 2 with respect to the snowboard 1 is adjusted, and the bolts are screwed into the screw holes from the elongated holes 5 of the fixing plate. At this time, the fixing plate 4 is slightly lifted with respect to the substrate 3 to temporarily release the engagement between the chevron projection and the V-shaped groove, and is rotated, or is moved along the long hole 5 of the fixing plate 4. Fine adjustment is performed by tightening the bolt 6 into the screw hole of the snowboard at a desired position, so that the binding 2 can be attached to the snowboard 1 via the fixing plate 4.

A pair of shoe width receiving pieces 8 having an L-shaped cross section are provided on both front edge portions of the base plate 2. As shown in detail in FIGS. 3 and 4, the horizontal surface portion 8a of each shoe width receiving piece 8 is notched and formed obliquely forward with respect to the center line of the snowboard at both front edge portions of the substrate 3. It is fitted in the groove 9 so as to be retractable. That is, a large number of chevron-shaped projections 10 are formed on the bottom surface of the concave groove 9 of the substrate 3 along a direction orthogonal to the above-mentioned protruding / retracting direction of the shoe width receiving piece 8, while on the lower surface of the horizontal surface portion of the shoe width receiving piece 8. A large number of V-shaped grooves (not shown) that fit with the chevron projections are formed, and by fitting both of them, the shoe width receiving piece 8 is diagonally forward from the substrate at a predetermined pitch with respect to the concave grooves. It can be projected.
In addition, a long hole 11 is formed on the bottom surface of the groove 9 along the protruding / retracting direction.
Is pierced, and the horizontal surface portion 8a of the shoe width receiving piece 8 is opposed to this.
A circular hole 12 is formed in the hole, and a long hole 11 is formed from above the circular hole.
The fixing screw 13 is inserted therethrough, and the lower end of this screw is fixed to the metal fitting 14 to fix the shoe heel receiving piece 8 to the base plate 3. In addition, the vertical wall portion 8b of the shoe width receiving piece 8 is shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 5, a hole 16 is formed to insert the band 15 that tightly binds the shoe tip.
