According to the first aspect of the present invention,
Polypropylene fibers containing soluble glass powder containing silver ions are used, or the soluble glass powder is included in the adhesive component of the non-woven fabric, or the solubility of both the fiber and the adhesive component is improved. It is characterized in that a non-woven fabric obtained by containing glass powder is molded into a predetermined size and shape. In addition to the above configuration, the invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that the polypropylene fiber containing the soluble glass powder containing silver ions comprises a soluble glass powder containing silver ions and having a particle size of 50 μm or less. It is kneaded in a fiber material at a ratio of 30% by weight or less and has an initial elution rate of silver ions of 10 ng / cm 2 / day or more. According to the invention of claim 3, in addition to the above-mentioned constitution, the soluble glass containing the silver ions has a composition ratio of P 2
O 5 is 49 to 51 mol%, MgO is 43 to 45 mol%,
Ag 2 is added to the soluble glass containing Al 2 O 3 of 5 to 7 mol%.
It is characterized by containing 0.1 to 0.7% by weight of O.

In the present invention, the synthetic fibers that can be used as the constituent fibers of the nonwoven fabric are limited to polypropylene fibers. However, if the pad is not made of hydrophobic fiber, the fiber absorbs water when it is washed, and it takes time to dry, and unnecessary silver ion elution proceeds during washing and drying, which deteriorates the antibacterial and antifungal action. Cause A typical example of the hydrophobic fiber is a polyolefin fiber, and a typical example of the polyolefin fiber is a polypropylene fiber and a polyethylene fiber. However, the latter is not limited to polypropylene fibers because fine fibers cannot be obtained.

The soluble glass containing silver ions used in the present invention is a general term for glass whose composition is adjusted in consideration of physical and chemical characteristics of glass so as to exhibit a limited melting rate. Thus, a soluble glass containing silver ions can elute silver ions at a defined rate over any period of hours to years. Then, the eluted silver ions are adsorbed on the cell walls of bacteria or microorganisms or condensed in the cell membrane to inhibit the growth of bacteria or microorganisms by a so-called oligodynamic effect and exert an antibacterial function.

Generally, fungi and bacteria are propagated when the humidity is high, and when the humidity is low, the fungi and bacteria are not propagated so much. In contrast, soluble glass has a temperature
It elutes a large amount of its components when the humidity is high, and it elutes little when the temperature and humidity are low, so it is in direct proportion to the growth of mold and bacteria. That is, when bacteria or the like are easily propagated, a large amount of the antibacterial and antifungal component is eluted from the soluble glass, and conversely, when the bacteria and the like are hardly propagated, the antibacterial and antifungal component is hardly eluted from the soluble glass. There is.

The amount of the soluble glass added varies depending on the particle size, but when the particle size is 50 μm or less, the range is preferably 0.1 to 30% by weight based on the weight of the nonwoven fabric. As a metal that emits ions as an antibacterial and antifungal component to be contained in soluble glass, copper, zinc, and other metal compounds having an antibacterial and antifungal function are conceivable, but safety,
Due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties, it is limited to those that release silver ions.

When the amount of silver ions eluted from the nonwoven fabric composing the bed pad obtained in the present invention is 10 ng / cm 2 / day or more in distilled water at 20 ° C., it inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold due to the oligodynamic effect. Then, favorable results were obtained.

The components of the soluble glass usable in the present invention include network-forming oxides such as SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 and P 2 O 5 , or Na 2 O, K 2 O, Cao and Mg.
It consists of a network-modifying oxide such as O, BaO, Al 2 O 3 , TiO 2 , and ZnO. When it absorbs moisture, the soluble glass gradually dissolves due to the moisture, and the silver ions contained in the glass composition are eluted. Any one can be used without particular limitation, but when using the fusible glass having the composition according to claim 3, it is particularly advantageous in terms of preventing yellowing of the bed pad and maintaining the antibacterial and antifungal action.

The elution amount of silver after the time immersion was measured. Soluble glass deposition amount 8.0 g / m 2 , silver ion elution rate 700 ng /
The result was cm 2 / day. Next, to prevent the growth of green mold, the temperature was 25 ° C on potato dextrose agar medium.
After culturing for 1 week in, the growth inhibition zone was observed. No blue mold was found around 5 mm around the nonwoven fabric. Furthermore, after this, after dipping this test subject in water for 1 day, a decrease in the blue mold growth inhibition function due to the elution of silver ions was also observed, but the length of the blue mold inhibition zone was only slightly reduced to 4 mm, and it was wet. As a result, a sufficient effect can be expected as a pad for a bed that absorbs a large amount of water with the foot.

According to the invention of claim 1, since hydrophobic polypropylene fiber is used as the fiber material of the non-woven fabric forming the bed pad, it is not only comfortable to contain sweat and the like but also comfortable for washing. At that time, it can be dried quickly, and it is possible to suppress the useless elution of silver ions during washing.
The composition of the soluble glass having antibacterial and antifungal function and its addition amount can be selected in a considerably wide range, so that the antibacterial and antifungal function can have a wide range, and further, the component having the antibacterial and antifungal function is safe for the human body. Since it is limited to the silver compound, it can be used as a bed pad without any problem in terms of safety and hygiene.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the powder of molten glass containing silver ions is added to polypropylene fiber in an amount of 3%.
By kneading less than 0% by weight, the fiber has an excellent antibacterial and antifungal function by having an initial elution rate of 10 ng / cm 2 / day or more of silver ions. Can eliminate the risk of falling out,
Compared to conventional antibacterial fibers, the antibacterial and antifungal function can be exerted for a much longer period of time, and a stable effect can be maintained for a long period of time.
