【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 車体側面にあって閉断面を構成し車体前
後方向に伸びるサイドシルの内部に、該閉断面を略閉塞
するブレースを取り付けた自動車用サイドシル補強構造
において、 前記ブレースの車幅方向に伸びる面に、他の部分に比べ
て車幅方向の入力に対して屈曲しやすい易屈曲部を該ブ
レースの上端から下端に亘って形成することを特徴とす
る自動車用サイドシル補強構造。
1. A side sill reinforcement structure for an automobile, wherein a brace that substantially closes the closed cross section is attached to the inside of a side sill that forms a closed cross section on the side surface of the vehicle body and that extends in the vehicle front-rear direction. ートクロスメンバ端部近傍にそれぞれ車体前後方向に間
隔をおいて取り付けた自動車用サイドシル補強構造にお
いて、 前記ブレースのうちシートクロスメンバ端部近傍に取り
付けたブレースの車幅方向に伸びる面に、他の部分に比
べて車幅方向の入力に対して屈曲しやすい易屈曲部を該
ブレースの上端から下端に亘って形成することを特徴と
する自動車用サイドシル補強構造。
