Abstract

SOLUTION: A forklift 1 is provided with a steering handle 11 rotatably-fitted on the top of a vehicle body 2, and a handle 8 having a switch (lead switch) for switching auto/manual operation at such a position as it is near the steering wheel and a hand or an arm has no interference. A steering controller 10 controls driving of a steering motor with either control signal of an electric power steering part for conducting manual control or an automatic part for conducting automatic steering and control applied.
