2. Description of the Related Art For a special sale product sold in a supermarket, the unit price of each product is often lowered by selling a plurality of products of the same type. In such a case, as shown in FIG. 9, a plurality of products to be bound 1, 1 that are products are bundled with the adhesive tape 2 at the manufacturing factory of the product, and then wholesaled to the supermarket, which is the orderer. In this way, if the work of bundling a plurality of objects to be bound 1, 1 with the adhesive tape 2 is performed manually, not only is the efficiency inferior, but the binding state (such as the strength of the binding) varies, and The appearance of certain bundled objects 1 and 1 becomes poor. Therefore, it is necessary to perform the binding work mechanically. As binding devices that can be used for such purposes, those described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 62-1885-6 and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-1046 are conventionally known.

The device for bundling articles of the present invention constructed as described above operates as follows, and a plurality of objects to be placed on a pair of left and right moving members in a superposed state and fed in the front-back direction are provided. Bundling bundles. First, with the suction members supported by the lower ends of the front and rear pair of lifting actuators being raised, the upper surface of the adhesive tape cut to a predetermined length is sucked onto the lower surface of each suction member. When performing this work, first, the gripping member is moved to the tip portion of the adhesive tape by the movement of the horizontal movement actuator itself along the movement member and the displacement of the displacement member by the horizontal movement actuator in the direction perpendicular to the movement member. The gripping member grips a portion between the guide and the tape adhering member at the tip of the adhesive tape by the gripping member. Then, the horizontal movement actuator is moved along the moving member by a predetermined length in a direction away from the guide and the tape adhering member. As a result, the adhesive tape is pulled out from the coil by a predetermined amount.

When the adhesive tape is pulled out from the coil by a predetermined amount in this manner, each suction member is made to communicate with the negative pressure source, and the pulled-out adhesive tape is sucked onto the lower surface of each suction member. Further, the middle part of the adhesive tape is cut by a cutting device, and at the same time, a part of the cutting part near the coil is attached to the tape attaching member. In this state, the upper surface middle portion of the adhesive tape cut into a predetermined length is adsorbed to the lower surface of each of the adsorption members. The adhesive surface coated with the adhesive in this state becomes the lower surface of the adhesive tape. The upper surface that is sucked onto the lower surface of each of the suction members is a non-adhesive surface on which no adhesive is applied. The plurality of objects to be bound are hung between a pair of left and right moving members, and are moved forward by the moving members. When performing the binding work, the moving member is stopped in a state in which the article is located immediately below the pressing plate.

After stopping the moving member, each of the suction members is lowered. Along with the lowering of the suction member, the portions of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape sucked by these suction members are pulled downward. At this time, the non-adhesive surface slides on the suction member. Further, the first stroking member stroks the front and rear side surfaces of the plurality of objects to be bound together with the lower portion of the suction member as the suction member descends.
As a result, the central portion of the adhesive tape is attached to the upper surface of the article, and the portions near both ends of the intermediate portion are attached to the front and rear side surfaces of the article. Further, both end portions of the adhesive tape are in a state of projecting downward from both front and rear side surfaces of the binding object located at the lowermost position.

Therefore, the attachment arms are alternately advanced to the lower side of the object to be bound by the first and second strokes, and the second and third stroke attachment members provided at the upper end portions of the attachment arms by each stroke, Both ends of the adhesive tape are attached to the lower surface of the object to be bound. As a result, the plurality of objects to be bound placed on the pair of left and right moving members in a superposed state are bound by the adhesive tape cut into a predetermined length. Therefore, after raising the adsorbent, the movement of the pair of left and right moving members, which has been stopped until then, is restarted. Hereinafter, by repeating the above operation, the objects to be bound placed on the upper surface of the moving member at predetermined intervals are bound.

The adhesive tape 26 for binding the objects to be bound 1 and 1 has an adhesive applied on one surface (the lower surface of FIGS. 1, 4, 5 and 7). It is wound around a coil (not shown) rotatably supported in one direction. The adhesive tape 26 pulled out from the coil passes through a tension pulley or the like (not shown) that applies a predetermined tension to the adhesive tape 26, and then is guided downward by the guide 9. On the outer peripheral surface of the guide 9, which is a roller rotatably supported by the horizontal axis, the adhesive tape 2 is attached.
The adhesive surfaces of 6 come into contact. Therefore, on the outer peripheral surface of the guide 9, a surface film such as a coating layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to which an adhesive is hard to adhere is formed. The tape adhering member 10 is provided diagonally below the guide 9 in the front-rear direction. The lower surface of the tip of the adhesive tape 26 can be attached to the upper surface of the tape attaching member 10. However, the upper surface of the tape adhering member 10 is also covered with a material having a relatively weak adhesive strength such as a polyamide resin so that the adhesive strength of the adhesive tape 26 does not become too large.

The holding member 12 is supported on one end portion (left end portion in FIG. 3) of the support plate 32. The grip member 12 includes a fixed finger 34, a displacement finger 35, and an actuator 36 for swinging and displacing the displacement finger 35. In the illustrated embodiment, this actuator 36 is
By displacing the displacement block 38 with the air cylinder 37, the displacement finger 35 can be moved to and away from the fixed finger 34. That is, the displacement block 38 is provided on the rod of the air cylinder 37. On one side (right side in FIG. 3) of the displacement block 38, an inclined surface whose width (dimension in the left-right direction in FIG. 3) becomes smaller as it goes upward in FIG. 3 is provided. On the other hand, an intermediate portion of the displacement finger 35 is pivotally supported on a vertical plate fixed to the support plate 32. And
A sliding roller 56 is provided at the lower end of the displacement finger 35, and the sliding roller 56 is brought into contact with the inclined surface of the displacement block 38. Therefore, by displacing the displacement block 38 by the air cylinder 37, the displacement finger 35 moves far and near with respect to the fixed finger 34 with the pivot portion as the center. In this way, when the displacement finger 35 swings and the fingers 34, 35 come close to each other, the tip portion of the adhesive tape 26 can be gripped (gripped) with sufficient strength.

The operation of adsorbing the adhesive tape 26 cut into the predetermined length to the pair of adsorbing members 7, 7 is performed as follows. First, the support plate 32 is retracted downward in FIG. 3 by retracting the air cylinder 33, and the displacement finger 35 is separated from the fixed finger 34 by retracting the air cylinder 37 (the gripping member 12).
Open). Further, the horizontal movement actuator 1
The slider 31 constituting 1 is moved to the left in the figure. The above conditions are confirmed by a sensor (not shown), and further the fact that the adhesive tape 26 is attached to the tape attaching member 10 is confirmed by another sensor (not shown). After these confirmations are completed, the air cylinder 33 of the horizontal movement actuator 11 is extended to advance the support plate 32 upward in FIG. At the time of this forward movement, the tips of the fixed fingers 34 and the tips of the displacement fingers 35, which constitute the grip member 12, are left open as shown in FIG. As the support plate 32 moves forward, the fixed fingers 3
The tip portion of 4 and the tip portion of the displacement finger 35 are located on the front and rear sides of the portion between the guide 9 and the tape adhering member 10 at the tip portion of the adhesive tape 26. The support plate 3 up to this position
After moving No. 2, the air cylinder 37 is then extended to advance the displacement block 38 upward in FIG. As a result, the sliding roller 56 is pushed by the inclined surface of the displacement block 38 and displaced to the right in FIG. That is, the displacement finger 35 rotates about its pivotal portion, displaces the tip end portion of the displacement finger 35 toward the tip end portion of the fixed finger 34, and the tip end portions of the both fingers 34, 35 are moved to each other. The tip portion of the adhesive tape 26 holds the portion between the guide 9 and the tape attaching member 10.

When the tip portion of the adhesive tape 26 is gripped in this way, the horizontal movement actuator 11 is moved along the moving members 3 and 3 in front of the moving members 3 and 3 in the feeding direction (right in FIG. 3). One). Then, when the sensor 53b provided in the portion near the front end of the intermediate portion of the guide rail 28 detects the movement of the slider 31, the actuator 36 moves the tip of the displacement finger 35 away from the tip of the fixed finger 34. And the tip of the adhesive tape 26 is separated from the grip member 12. As a result, the adhesive tape 26 is no longer pulled out from the coil (the pulled-out state corresponds to the predetermined length). The slider 31 moves a little after the gripping member 12 separates the tip end of the adhesive tape 26, abuts against the shock absorber 52b provided on the front end side (the right end side in FIG. 3), and the sensor 53c operates. The slider 31 is detected and the movement of the slider 31 is stopped. Then, the respective constituent members return to the above-mentioned states in preparation for the next work of pulling out the adhesive tape. When the slider 31 is returned to the above state, the sensor 53a detects the slider 31 and moves in a state where the slider 31 abuts on the shock absorber 52a provided on the rear end side (left side in FIG. 3). To stop.

The objects to be bound 1, 1 to be bound by the adhesive tape 26 cut into a predetermined length as described above, are a pair of left and right moving members 3, 3 between the transfer buckets 16, 16. It is bridged between the two and is moved forward by the moving members 3, 3. When performing the binding work, the moving members 3 and 3 are stopped in a state where the binding objects 1 and 1 are located immediately below the pressing plate 5. Therefore, the moving members 3 and 3 are intermittently operated so as to stop each time the transfer buckets 16 and 16 move by one pitch.

When the moving members 3 and 3 are stopped, as shown in FIG.
As shown in FIGS. 6 to 6, the elevating frame 4 is lowered, and the pressing plates 5 hold down the upper surfaces of the objects to be bound 1, 1. In addition, before and after the elevating frame 4 is lowered, the pair of front and rear elevating actuators 6, 6 are extended.
The piston rods 23, 23 are lowered, and the suction members 7, 7 supported by the lower ends of the piston rods 23, 23 are lowered. As the pressing plate 5 and the suction members 7, 7 are lowered in this way, the middle central portion of the adhesive tape 26, which is first cut into a predetermined length, is attached to the upper surface of the upper bound object 1. Next, the portions of the adhesive tape 26 adsorbed by both of the adsorbing members 7, 7 are pulled downward. At this time, since the non-adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 26 slides on the lower surfaces of the suction members 7 and 7, the adhesive tape 26 has a resistance against the non-adhesive surface and the lower surface. Appropriate tension is applied. Further, this resistance can be adjusted by the magnitude of the negative pressure introduced into the inside of each of the suction members 7, 7.

As described above, when the both ends of the adhesive tape 26 are pulled downward while the adsorbing members 7 and 7 apply the tension determined by the magnitude of the negative pressure, the pair of front and rear sides described above is used. The first stroking members 8 and 8 striking the portions of the adhesive tape 26 near both ends of the intermediate portion to the front and rear side surfaces of the superposed objects 1, 1 to be bound. As a result, the portions of the adhesive tape 26 that are close to both ends of the intermediate portion are attached to the front and rear side surfaces of the bound objects 1 and 1, respectively. Further, both ends of the adhesive tape 26 are in a state of protruding downward from both front and rear side surfaces of the objects to be bound 1, 1. In the illustrated embodiment, the receiving rollers 55, 55 are provided so that the projecting portion does not adhere to other than the desired portion. However, in the illustrated embodiment, at this stage, the adhesive tape 26
Since both end portions of the above are still adsorbed and held by the adsorbing members 7 and 7, the receiving rollers 55 and 55 may be omitted.

If the adhesive tape 26 is adhered to the upper surface of the upper bound object 1 and the front and rear side surfaces of the upper bound objects 1 and 1 as described above, then the first and second The attachment arms 14 and 15 are alternately stroked to the lower side of the objects to be bound 1, 1. For example, as shown in FIG. 7, the air cylinder 49
Is extended to displace the attachment arm 14 forward by the first stroke through the swing arm 50. As a result, the second stroking member 45 supported on the upper end portion of the mounting arm 14 by the first stroking sticks one end portion of the adhesive tape 26 to the lower surface of the lower bound object 1. . At this time, the second stroking member 45 passes through the inside of the suction member 7 formed in a U shape. Then, the adhesive tape 26 is pulled under the objects to be bound 1, 1 while resisting the resistance based on the attraction between the lower surface of the suction member 7 and the non-adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 26. Therefore, also at this time, the tension of the adhesive tape 26 can be adjusted by changing the negative pressure introduced into the suction member 7. For the sake of clarity, the drawing is drawn with a gap between the upper surface of the attachment member 45 and the lower surface of the lower bound member 1 by the first stroke, but this gap does not actually exist. .

When one end of the adhesive tape 26 is attached to the lower surface of the lower bound member 1 in this manner, the attachment arm 14 is returned (to the state shown in FIG. 5) by the first stroke. After that, by extending the air cylinder 51, the attachment arm 15 is displaced rearward by the second stroke. Then, the other side end of the adhesive tape 26 is adhered to the lower surface of the lower bound object 1 by the third striking member 46 provided on the upper end of the second striking arm 15. In this state, both ends of the adhesive tape 26 overlap each other as shown in FIG. 9 (B). As a result, left and right 1
A plurality of objects to be bound 1, 1 placed on the pair of moving members 3, 3.
The adhesive tapes 26 cut into a predetermined length are bound together.

Therefore, after the piston frames 23, 23 of the elevating frame 4 and the elevating actuators 6, 6 are raised, the movement of the pair of left and right moving members 3, 3 which has been stopped until then is restarted. Further, the attachment arm 15 is returned to the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 5 by the second stroke. Less than,
By repeating the above operation, the objects to be bound 1, 1 placed on the upper surfaces of the moving members 3, 3 at predetermined intervals are bound. That is, if the moving members 3 and 3 are moved by one pitch of the transfer buckets 16 and 16 after the objects to be bound 1 and 1 are bound, the states shown in FIGS.
Therefore, the above operation is repeated.

The strength with which the objects to be bound 1, 1 are bound by the adhesive tape 26, in other words, the appropriate value of the tension of the adhesive tape 26 varies depending on the type of the objects 1, 1, etc. In the case of the article bundling device of the present invention, each of the suction members 7,
The tension can be changed only by changing the magnitude of the negative pressure (negative pressure) introduced into 7. That is, if the negative pressure is increased, the tension of the adhesive tape 26 can be increased in order to bind the hard objects 1, 1 to be bound, and conversely, if the negative pressure is reduced, the soft objects 1, 1 are bound. Therefore, the tension of the adhesive tape 26 can be reduced.
