Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and reliability by taking the large adhesion area to a fiber reinforced resin through a process of attaching metallic plates to the periphery of a metallic pipe, by providing protrusions on the plates by burring, and by improving adhesive force. SOLUTION: As a reinforcing structure for attaching a head pipe made of a fiber reinforced resin, a metallic pipe is integrally attached to the attaching part. As a material of a main frame, a resin or a fiber reinforced plastic are preferable. Metallic plates 3, 4 to which burring is applied so as to sufficiently secure the adhesion surface to a fiber reinforced resin frame 2 are attached on the periphery of a head pipe 1. A urethane foam 5 as a core material is attached between the metallic plates 3, 4 so as to surround the head pipe 1. The outer peripheral surfaces of the metallic plates 3, 4 and the urethane foam 5 are covered with the fiber reinforced resin 2 and integrated with one another.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a head pipe structure for a two-wheeled vehicle or a three-wheeled vehicle, and more particularly to a structure for improving the adhesive force between the metal portion of the head pipe and the surrounding fiber reinforced resin. The present invention relates to a two-wheeled or three-wheeled vehicle head pipe structure. INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention uses a fiber-reinforced resin or a resin as a raw material and is used in general for insert molding of metal. For example, a two-wheel electric scooter having a frame made of fiber reinforced resin can be used.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional head pipe structure for a two-wheeled vehicle or a three-wheeled vehicle has a head pipe welded to a pipe and a plate welded to the head pipe in order to improve the adhesive force in fixing the head pipe to the frame. A fiber reinforced resin frame was adhered to the outside of the plate and fixed using a large number of rivets. After fixing the head pipe and the frame, the head of the rivet is exposed to the outside, so to hide it, the surface of the frame is finished smoothly with putty, etc. and painted or a separate cover is attached. It was attached.

Since the metal fitting for fixing the head pipe and the vehicle body is visible from the outside, an outer plate or work is required to hide the metal fitting. Therefore, there is a problem that the number of assembling steps such as painting or finishing after fixing new parts or head pipe and vehicle body necessary for mounting the outer plate is increased, and weight is increased by adding the parts.

The inventors of the present invention have studied to solve the above problems, and as a result, as a reinforcing structure for mounting a head pipe of a two-wheeled or three-wheeled vehicle made of fiber reinforced resin, A metal pipe is integrally attached so as to pass through the fiber reinforced resin, and the inside of the vehicle body is covered with a lightweight core material, and the periphery is further covered with a fiber reinforced resin to form a closed cross section. In a head pipe mounting structure in which a fiber reinforced resin and a core material are integrally bonded, a metal plate is attached around the metal pipe to increase the adhesion area with the fiber reinforced resin, and further, the plate is generally processed by sheet metal processing. The metal plate is subjected to burring, which is a conventional method for improving the surface rigidity of the plate and reducing the weight, and the protrusion from the plate by this burring process. Thereby completing the heading present invention to be able to strengthen the structure of the head pipe by causing utilizing improve the adhesion between the fiber-reinforced resin. That is, an object of the present invention is to provide a two-wheeled or three-wheeled vehicle having a head pipe structure having high strength and reliability. Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
