隔寸法のスラストクリアランスDをあけて近接するよう
に設けることによって、前記カム軸1に対する軸方向へ
の荷重、つまりスラスト荷重を支持するように構成して
いる。

いて、図5に二点鎖線で示すように、カム軸1の軸線に
対して傾斜した状態で固定されることがある。

るカム軸の軸受け装置において、前記軸受けキャップ体
の左右両側における両スラスト受け用突起部を、前記カ
ム軸の略真上の部分に、カム軸の軸線と直角方向の長さ
を短くして設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関におけるカ
ム軸の軸受け装置。
