2. Description of the Related Art A sewing needle, a gusset needle, or a broken sewing needle may remain in a garment during the sewing process of the garment. Is shipped as a product, which may even cause fatal injury to consumers due to residual needles. And such a problem has become a social problem as product liability. Conventionally, in order to avoid the above-mentioned problem of residual needles, manufacturers carry out inspections using a needle detector. This needle detector is a magnetic induction type metal piece detector utilizing eddy current, and the remaining needle is inspected by passing the garment, which has been sewn in the sewing process, over the above-mentioned needle detector.

However, in the conventional inspection method, since the step of inspecting the residual needle is provided independently of the step of manufacturing the garment, the time and labor required to newly perform the needle inspection operation are increased. Therefore, in order to obtain the guarantee of meter reading, the manufacturing process is considerably restricted. It is an object of the present invention to provide an inspection method and an inspection device that can inspect a residual needle in a conventional garment manufacturing process without providing a new inspection process.

As described above, according to the inspection method of the present invention, the remaining needles in the clothes are inspected by the needle detector which is the magnetic detection type metal detector provided on the iron while ironing the sewn clothes. Because it does
The remaining needles can be reliably inspected by using the ironing work operation that is always performed during the conventional garment manufacturing process, and the meter reading work can be performed without additional time or human intervention to guarantee the meter reading. Obtainable. Further, in the inspection device in which the iron body is provided with a needle detector made of a magnetic induction type metal detector, it is possible to inspect the needles remaining on the clothes at the same time when the ironing is finished.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The iron shown in FIG. 1 constitutes the meter-reading apparatus a of the present invention, in which the sensor 2a of the meter 2 is attached to the tip of the handle 1a attached to the iron body 1. The needle detector 2 is a so-called magnetic induction type metal piece detector, and is composed of a sensor 2a attached to the handle 1a of the iron body 1 and a needle detector body 2b communicating with the sensor 2a via a cable 2c. And
The electromotive force generated when a metal piece such as a needle moves in the magnetic field generated from the sensor 2a having a magnetic substance is used as the needle detector body 2b.
The light is amplified and detected by means of a light or sound alarm to notify that clothes include metal pieces such as needles. Therefore, in the case of the above-mentioned meter reading device a, when the iron body 1 and the sensor 2a move along the clothes when ironing the clothes, the needles remaining in the clothes are relatively moved in the magnetic field emitted from the sensor 2a. The remaining needle is detected by automatically crossing. As described above, the sensor 2a responds to the electromotive force generated when the metal piece moves in the magnetic field generated by the sensor 2a. Therefore, although the sensor 2a is close to the iron main body 1 made of metal, since the sensor 2a is attached and fixed to the iron main body 1, the distance between the two does not relatively change, so that the sensor 2a reacts with the iron main body 1. There is nothing to do. The above-mentioned meter reading device 2 may be provided inside the iron body 1 like the meter reading device a ′ shown in FIG.

Next, an inspection method using the above-mentioned meter reading device a will be described. In the garment manufacturing process, the sewn garment is ironed and then packaged and shipped. FIG. 3 shows a state in which the garment b, which has been sewn, is being ironed by using the inspection device a in which the needle detector 2 is attached to the iron body 1 as described above. The ironing can be applied evenly along the clothes b so as to adjust the shape of the clothes while extending the wrinkles attached to the clothes b. In this way, at the same time as the ironing is performed, the ironing is applied to the tip of the handle 1a. The magnetic field emitted from the attached sensor 2a also moves over the entire surface of the garment, thereby detecting the needle remaining in the garment b. Then, when there is a needle in the clothes that has been mixed in during the sewing process, the sensor 2a of the needle detector 2 when the iron is ironed along the place where the remaining needle is present during ironing.
The needle passes through the magnetic field emitted by the needle. Then, based on the electromotive force generated at this time, an alarm is issued from the needle detector main body 2b to notify the operator that the needle remains in the clothes being ironed.
When an alarm is issued, the operator can search for clothes with the sensor 2a to find out where the needle remains and take out the remaining needle.

In the inspection method as described above,
Since the remaining needles are inspected by the needle detector 2 while ironing the garment b after sewing, the remaining needles are surely inspected by using the ironing work which is the final step of the garment manufacturing process. In addition to the manufacturing process of clothes, the meter reading work can be performed without extra labor and time, and the meter reading guarantee can be obtained.
