Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily adjust a coupling coefficient between a coupling body and the dielectric resonator continuously while observing a waveform or the like displayed on a measurement device. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric resonator 3 is arranged in shield cases 1, 2 and signal input/output connectors 5a, 5b are fitted to the case and one end of metallic plates 7a, 7b as an elastic probe is connected and fixed to center conductors 6a, 6b of the connectors and screw members 8a, 8b screw-fitted to the case are pressed into contact around the other end of the metallic plates 7a, 7b. Thus, since the probe in the case is deformed by turning the screws fitted to the case while one end of the probe is connected and fixed to the center conductor of the connector, the coupling coefficient is adjusted while not disassembling the dielectric resonator without removing the cover forming part of, e.g. the shield case and continuous characteristic is adjusted while measuring the characteristic.

However, in such a conventional dielectric resonator device, at least a part of the shield case is opened in order to deform the coupling body at the time of adjusting the characteristics, and the opening is made at the time of measuring the characteristics. The department must be closed. For example, in the case where the shield case is composed of the case body and the cover, and the deformation of the coupling loop inside can be adjusted by removing the cover, the measurement of the characteristics → the opening of the cover → the deformation of the coupling loop → the cover The predetermined characteristics could not be obtained unless the operations of closing, measuring the characteristics, opening the cover, and so on were repeated several times. Therefore, the characteristic adjustment work is complicated,
It took a long time to adjust the characteristics.

In the dielectric resonator device according to the first aspect of the present invention, the dielectric resonator is arranged in the shield case, the signal input / output connector is attached to the shield case, and the center conductor of the connector is in the case. One end of an elastic probe is connected and fixed to the central conductor. An insulating screw member is screwed into the case, and the tip of the screw member is in contact with the vicinity of the other end of the probe. Therefore, due to the rotation of the screw member, the protruding amount of the screw member into the case changes, and accordingly, the probe is deformed while one end of the probe is connected and fixed to the central conductor of the connector, and the dielectric resonator The distance between the probe and the probe changes. As a result, the coupling coefficient between the dielectric resonator and the probe changes. When the screw member is rotated,
Due to the elastic action of the probe, one end of the probe is always connected and fixed to the central conductor of the connector, and the other end is always in contact with the tip of the screw member. It can be deformed either in the direction close to or away from the container.
Moreover, when rotating the screw member, for example, it is not necessary to remove a cover that forms a part of the shield case, and continuous characteristic adjustment is possible while performing characteristic measurement in a state where the dielectric resonator device is assembled. Become.

In the dielectric resonator device according to the second aspect, the dielectric resonator is arranged in the shield case, the signal input / output connector is attached to the shield case, and the center conductor of the connector projects into the case. One end of an elastic metal plate is connected and fixed to the central conductor.
A conductive screw member is screwed into the case, and the tip of the screw member is in contact with the other end of the metal plate. Therefore, the metal plate, the screw member, and part of the shield case act as a coupling loop, and the amount of protrusion of the screw member with respect to the inside of the case changes due to the rotation of the screw member. The metal plate is deformed while being connected and fixed to the center conductor of, and the distance between the dielectric resonator and the coupling loop and the area of the coupling loop are changed. As a result, the coupling coefficient between the coupling loop formed by the metal plate and the dielectric resonator changes. When the screw member is rotated, the elastic action of the metal plate keeps one end of the metal plate connected and fixed to the center conductor of the connector, and the other end always abuts the tip of the screw member. Depending on the moving direction and the amount of rotation, the coupling loop can be deformed either in the direction in which the coupling loop is close to the dielectric resonator and the coupling is strong, or in the direction in which the coupling loop is separated from the dielectric resonator and the coupling is weak. Moreover, when rotating the screw member, for example, it is not necessary to remove a cover that forms a part of the shield case, and continuous characteristic adjustment is possible while performing characteristic measurement in a state where the dielectric resonator device is assembled. 1 shows the structure of a dielectric resonator device according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1A is a top view with a cover removed, and FIG. 1B is a vertical cross-sectional view seen from the front. In FIG. 1, 1 is a metal case body, and 2 is a metal cover that covers the upper part of the case body 1 in the figure. The case body 1 and the cover 2 form a shield case according to the present invention. Inside the case main body 1, a dielectric resonator 3 made of a cylindrical dielectric ceramics is disposed via a support base 4 made of a low dielectric constant cylindrical or cylindrical ceramics. Case body 1 and support 4
And the support base 4 and the dielectric resonator 3 are bonded and fixed by an adhesive. Signal input / output connectors 5a and 5b are fixed by screws on the left and right sides of the case body 1 in the figure. The case main body 1 is provided with holes through which the center conductors 6a and 6b of the connectors 5a and 5b are inserted on the left and right sides, and when the connectors 5a and 5b are attached to the case main body 1, the center conductors 6a and 6b are It projects into the case. One ends of elastic metal plates 7a and 7b are connected and fixed to the center conductors 6a and 6b of these connectors by soldering or the like. This metal plate 7
Reference characters a and 7b act as probes for electric field coupling with the dielectric resonator 3. A screw hole is provided in the front-rear direction of the case body 1 in the figure, and insulative screw members 8a and 8b made of synthetic resin or ceramics are screwed together. The tips of the screw members 8a and 8b in the case are brought into contact with the vicinity of the other ends of the metal plates 7a and 7b. Here, the metal plates 7a and 7b have one ends connected and fixed to the center conductors 6a and 6b of the connector, respectively, and the other ends are in contact with the screw members 8a and 8b. However, due to the action of the elastic force,
The ends of the metal plates 7a and 7b always urge the screw members 8a and 8b toward the outside of the case. Therefore, for example, if the screw member 8a is rotated to increase the protruding amount of the screw member 8a into the case, the metal plate is deformed as shown by 7a ', and the metal plate 7a' is shown.
When the screw member 8a is rotated in the opposite direction, the metal plate 7a is deformed in a direction away from the dielectric resonator 3. This also applies to the relationship between the screw member 8b and the metal plate 7b.

Next, the structure of the dielectric resonator device according to the second embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. FIG. 2 is a top view with the cover removed. Unlike the first embodiment,
The case body has a substantially octagonal planar shape, and the connector 5
Approximately 4 with respect to the protruding direction of the central conductors 6a and 6b of a and 5b.
The screw members 8a and 8b are screwed together in the 5 ° direction. The other structure is the same as that shown in FIG. 1 as the first embodiment. The dielectric resonator device according to the second embodiment is
Since the distance between the center conductors 6a and 6b of the connector and the tips of the screw members 8a and 8b is short, it is suitable when relatively short metal plates 7a and 7b are used.

Next, the structure of the dielectric resonator device according to the third embodiment is shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is a top view with the cover removed. Unlike the dielectric resonator device shown in FIG. 1A as the first embodiment, this dielectric resonator device uses metal screw members as the screw members 9a and 9b. Other configurations are the same as those in the first embodiment. In the case of the third embodiment, the metal plates 7a and 7b, the screw members 9a and 9b, and the inner wall surface of the case body 1 respectively form a coupling loop, and the dielectric resonator 3 and this
Magnetic fields are coupled to the two coupling loops. Therefore, for example, if the screw member 9a is rotated to increase the protruding amount of the screw member 9a into the case, the metal plate is deformed as shown by 7a ', and the metal plate 7a', the screw member 9a, and the case body 1 are separated. As the distance between the coupling loop formed by the inner wall surface and the dielectric resonator 3 approaches, the loop area of the coupling loop increases,
The bond becomes stronger. Rotate the screw member 9a in the opposite direction,
If the amount of protrusion of the screw member 9a into the case is reduced, the distance between the dielectric plate 3 and the coupling loop formed by the metal plate 7a ', the screw member 9a and the inner wall surface of the case body 1 is increased, and the loop of the coupling loop is increased. The area is reduced and the bond is weak. This also applies to the case where the metal plate 7b is deformed by the screw member 9b.
