Description of the Related Art A pneumatic tire having a block pattern on a tread, when loaded on a vehicle and subjected to a load during traveling, produces an impact sound at the front end area of the ground on the stepping side of the block as the bending rigidity of the block changes. appear. Further, in the grounding rear end region on the kicking side of the block, the frictional energy generated in the block is released due to the sudden decrease in the vertical grounding pressure, so that the grounding friction vibration sound is generated.

As a result, the rigidity of the block on the stepping side is reduced, and the impact sound is reduced. However, on the other hand, since the block shape is approximately rhombic, the rigidity on the kick-out side of the block is also low, which causes an increase in the ground friction vibration sound at the ground contact trailing edge region of the block, resulting in an impact sound and a ground friction vibration sound. It was difficult to improve both and.

By dividing the main block part with a large block volume on the stepping side and the sub block part with a small block volume on the kicking side by the sub lateral groove, frictional energy stored when each block touches the ground is conventionally Since it can be dispersed in the sub-block portion according to its volume, it is possible to reduce the magnitude of each frictional energy released along with the abrupt decrease in vertical ground pressure.

In addition, the rear block of the main block is also provided with a sub-groove having a smaller inclination angle with respect to the tire width direction than the lateral groove to increase the block rigidity on the rear end side of the main block. Even if the main block is higher than the sub block, the deformation on the rear end side can be suppressed to a low level.
It is also possible to reduce the ground friction vibration noise generated in the rear end area of the main block grounding.

Is provided to partition the block 5 into a main block portion 5A having a large block volume on the stepping side and a sub block portion 5B having a small block volume on the kicking side, and the inclination angle of the sub lateral groove 6 with respect to the tire width direction is defined as a lateral groove. It is configured to be smaller than 3. In this way, the main groove 2 extending in the tire circumferential direction T and the lateral groove 3 arranged obliquely with respect to the tire width direction.
In a block pattern in which a large number of blocks 5 are formed by and, the tire rotation direction R is set to one direction, and the block 5 has a large volume on the stepping side and a main block part 5A having a small volume on the kicking side. By dividing into 5B via the sub-lateral groove 6, it becomes possible to disperse the energy stored when the block 5 is grounded into the main block portion 5A and the sub block portion 5B according to the volume thereof. Therefore, it is possible to lower the level of each frictional energy released along with the abrupt decrease of the vertical ground contact pressure as compared with the conventional level.

きる。Therefore, since the kick-out side of the block 5 is the sub-block portion 5B having a small volume, the friction energy released is also low, and therefore the ground frictional vibration generated in the grounding rear end region of the block 5 on the kick-out side. It is possible to reduce sound. Further, the main block portion 5A is provided with a sub-lateral groove 6 whose rear end has a smaller inclination angle with respect to the tire width direction than the lateral groove 3 to enhance the block rigidity on the rear end side of the main block portion. Even if the main block portion 5A is higher than the sub block portion 5B, the deformation on the rear end side can be reduced, so that the ground friction vibration noise generated in the ground contact rear end region of the main block portion can also be suppressed.

The impact sound can be improved by lowering the rigidity on the stepping side. The volume ratio of the sub block portion 5B to the main block portion 5A is preferably set in the range of 0.45 to 0.50. If the volume ratio is less than 0.45, the volume of the sub block portion 5B becomes too small, the block rigidity in the sub block portion 5B decreases, and uneven wear occurs. The volume ratio is 0.
On the contrary, when it exceeds 50, the volume of the sub-block portion 5B becomes too large, and the effect of improving the ground frictional vibration noise in the grounding rear end region on the kicking side is reduced.

It is preferable to have a relationship of ≦ 45 ° and 0 ≦ β ≦ 15 °. If the inclination angle α of the lateral groove 3 is smaller than 30 °, the rigidity of the block 5 in the front-end side ground contact front region cannot be lowered so that the impact sound is sufficiently reduced. If the inclination angle α is larger than 45 °, the front end of the ground contacting the block becomes too acute and uneven wear is likely to occur.

のは言うでもない。As shown in FIG. 2, for example, the sub-lateral groove 6 is formed so that the groove depth reaches near the groove bottom of the main groove 2, and the main block portion 5A and the sub block portion 5B are formed. It can be configured to contact in the vicinity of the groove bottom. Also,
The cross-sectional shape is formed in a substantially V shape, and the groove wall 6a on the main block portion 5A side is formed in a flat shape along the tire radial direction, while the groove wall 6b on the sub block portion 5B side is expanded outward. The opening angle θ between the groove walls 6a and 6b is formed so as to open.
Is preferably 20 to 30 °. By setting the opening angle θ in this way, the rigidity balance between the main block portion 5A and the subsequent sub block portion 5B can be improved. FIG. 3 shows another example of the pneumatic tire of the present invention.
In the embodiment described above, instead of the block pattern in which only the blocks 5 are provided on the tread surface 1, ribs 8 are provided in the center region of the tread surface 1 and the blocks 5 are arranged on both sides thereof. Needless to say, the present invention can be applied to a block pattern having the ribs 8 as described above.

When mounted on a 6 J rim and subjected to an air pressure of 200 kPa and an evaluation test of high frequency noise resistance under the following measurement conditions, the results shown in Table 1 were obtained. A load of 4.41 kN was applied to the high-frequency noise resistance test tire, and the sound pressure levels on the stepping side and the kicking side of the block were measured when the tire was run at 40 km / h. 800 to 10 on the stepping side
Range of peak frequency of 00Hz, 1000 ~
The measurement was performed in the peak frequency range of 1600 Hz, and the result was evaluated by an index value with the conventional tire as 100. The larger the value, the better the noise resistance.
